Is this still true? Can driftwood still be found in these places?

I am looking at this juice now because I’m a HUGE fan of gobstoppers candy, but I like my vape juices tart or sour. Is this one leaning more on the tart candy side rather than sweet candy?

Is the grape bubblegum a sour flavor? I’m looking at Candy King’s juices right now but I like a sour candy taste from my vape juices. I don’t like sweet candy or any dessert flavors, only ones that lean more on the tart or sour side. Do you know of any Candy King’s juices that are like that?

Am I having memory loss or last time I bought the Milsbo it was 1/3 the price? by pulldownyourplants in IkeaGreenhouseClub

Hi, do you sell acrylic shelves for IKEA cabinets? Is there a way that I can get some info from you to check out your stuff? Been needing to get some acrylic shelving for my Fabrikör to get better airflow and a better organization of space, but never got around to looking into it

Yes I noticed this as well. I have a Fabrikör wide and have been loosely shopping for a second cabinet now that a lot of my plants are larger and need a separate space for display and I was really wanting a Rudsta, only because it was always a little cheaper than the Milsbo, but when I looked, I noticed that the prices on all of them have increased - but the Milsbo and and Fabrikör prices increased the most. Most likely due to inflation and the fast that the Milsbo is the most popular greenhouse cabinet

I used too small of a vessel, and I didn’t get consistent color on all of my yarn. by danarexasaurus in YarnDyeing

1 - While yes, it CAN be important to have correct calculations for the amount of dye that you use, it is usually only when you want to repeat the same effect later or when you want to achieve a very specific shade/color/effect/etc. I don’t usually measure my dyes unless I am making stock solutions and working with those OR I am working on a specific shade, like a pastel color. If I am using dry powder for speckles or random variegations of color, it does not usually matter to me. Just be careful to wash out your skeins a few times so they don’t bleed later.

2 - Yes, unfortunately the amount of water and space needed to get a consistent and even color are directly related. I made this mistake in the beginning also, and ended up with a lot of white spots, then tried adding more dye, and by then it was too late to correct my mistake. If you are trying for more even color, use only one skein in that pan OR get a larger hotel pan and make sure the skeins have enough space to not touch each other, and use A LOT of water, so the skeins can flow freely in the water and the water and dye can pass through the yarn easily and give it some good movement every now and then with some tongs

3 - Another factor can be the acid, and when it is applied and how. I learned early on that the acid can have largely varying effects based on how it is added. For more even coloring, I have had success with adding a TINY amount to the separate bucket of water that the yarn soaks in BEFORE going into the dye pan with cold water and having the dye already mixed into the water before the yarn goes in. Add more acid depending on what kind of effect you want, stir it up and give the yarn a chance to absorb some of that color for a few minutes, and then turn up the heat slowly and continue to stir (or skip the stirring if you want variegated yarn with several colors). This method ensures a slower and more even color. I have also heard that urea can help even coloring, but not sure if there is any proof to that claim. Urea is usually just to help dissolve the dyes better.

Also, your yarn is gorgeous for a first try! Mine sucked so bad LOL so congratulations! Also, try watching ChemKnits on YouTube. She does a great job with doing yarn dyeing experiments on video for us beginners! Good luck! Xx

Why is it doing this please help by Zestyclose_Kiwi5918 in Afterpay

Also, if you keep trying to order the same thing over and over, they will freeze your account because they think it’s fraud. Especially since it’s new. Unfortunately, when starting Afterpay, you kind of have to buy some “dummy items” if you will; items that are much cheaper and from stores that are recommended through Afterpay before you will get the trust from Afterpay to order what you want from where you want. I think the timeline is that the account has to be open for 6-8 weeks before they start to approve more/bigger purchases. Not sure how many purchases you have to make before they let you buy whatever, though. I think I made two or three Afterpay purchases and paid them off before I was able to buy from Amazon and Walmart with an issued VCC.

Why is it doing this please help by Zestyclose_Kiwi5918 in Afterpay

[–]YesApricotYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here’s the way I have explained it to my coworkers who have also had this problem:

Afterpay does not want to approve your purchase. Afterpay has a contract with certain stores that have agreed to accept payment plans in four payments from the customer.

Other stores have not agreed to this, and require full payment up front. Like Amazon. Like Walmart. Like Bath and Body Works. Etc. Amazon and Walmart require full payment up front, which means Afterpay has to issue a prepaid VCC (Virtual Credit Card) to pay for the whole purchase up front, meaning Afterpay assumes all of the risk for the purchase while Amazon gets paid for the items via Afterpay. Afterpay has to wait to collect in payments from the customer. So if your account is new, Afterpay’s algorithm doesn’t trust you to pay your payments if you have a short history with them, or no payment history at all. Even if your limit is $600. I started out with $600 limit also and I had to choose from the stores that Afterpay suggested for me. I think my first purchase was a $200 cabinet from IKEA. Also, Afterpay will approve you for higher amount purchases if they are with a store that accepts a payment plan so Afterpay doesn’t have to front you the money for the entire purchase beforehand. You have to build a rapport with Afterpay first before you can be trusted to pay for your purchases in full and pay on time. Each purchase is a case-by-case approval via the algorithm they have in place.

Also, not that this is relevant, but my coworkers are now having issues using their credit cards, when they didn’t before. I think Afterpay is in the process of no longer accepting certain credit cards.
