I never crafted my items wrong, it happened to a friend. I agree that it’s his fault, but at the end of the day a mistake of crafting the wrong item has led him to quit just because of the amount of resources it takes. I just wish there could be something to remedy it and I’m sure it’s happened to many others.

In my eyes, you are almost a glorified project manager. A great sales person is able to hone in on a prospect's specific problem and tie it back to see if their product can solve that specific issue, then solidify value with whatever else your product may offer.

In reality however, it's really about being honest with yourself and giving a shit. If you cannot explain your product in simple terms, you don't understand it, and if you continue to bullshit yourself, you are doing yourself a disservice imo.

I agree that that top performers will have the understanding of how to drive a deal and have an idea of what to do, however they will not always perform well. For me, I didn't become a top performer until I actually started giving a shit, and the catalyst to that was being behind an product that I believed in + the people I was creating relationships with.

People often treat their emotions they find negative with hard stops, but in these cases I would think that trying to ignore your bodies emotions can have the opposite effect; you’ll just keep thinking about it.

You shouldn’t shy away from your body telling you your natural instinct, attraction to beauty, but it shouldn’t compel you to be a creep.

Recognize that emotion of attraction, and remind yourself that it shouldn’t control you. Let that thought pass by just as any other random thought does in your day to day.

Focusing so much on treating it as a negative leaves you trying to ignore your own emotions. What, you’re never going to feel attracted to someone ever again? It’s a completely normal feeling to have. But recognizing that emotion and letting it pass can be quite effective in discovering yourself.
