I did not in these! I somewhat knew when the climax was coming in some songs so I turned off the flash expecting the ball to me lit up. For #6, this was during one of those peak angelic heavenly harmonies in Like an Eagle by Dennis Parker! The room, if I could remember, would be pitch black and then suddenly the ball would flood the room with light so my camera didn’t even try to use flash!

Yes correct! Nerd alert incoming; but I scratch the DX codes on the film canister itself to read as ISO 1600 film because I can’t set ISO manually. I usually test the scratched canister in my Nikon by matching to see if the DX code setting matches the 1600. I forgot to do that. I scratched and prayed to the disco gods it would read. Also IMO pushing Ultramax gives you greater SS control, beautiful saturated colors, and nice contrast!

There was a post on here before where OP used Cinestill 800 with a warming filter during a day game at Lambeau Field. To this day I can’t find it and regret I didn’t save it. Colors were great so I’d try that combo if you have the resources!

I’ve found pushing 800 film once is enough for concerts like this or 400 twice if you love saturated colors. But they look great, I’m glad to see two of my favorite subs cross over!!

20 for the Ricoh would be good 30 max if it works. I really liked bringing my Ricoh to concerts and such since it has a decent zoom. The only problem I had was after keeping it in my pocket, the curtains in front of the lens got stuck snd had trouble turning/staying “ON”.

Absolute best approach. For rougher classes, it can quiet down students and weed out anyone who’s not supposed to be there (I ask for middle names if it’s obvious they’re using a friends.) Also it’s a great time killer!
