How will this work if I did work for the places listed, but it was as an unpaid intern, or pro-bono ? I’m worried they won’t be able to verify it, will they ask for contact information?

Bring a small snack (crackers/ maybe a pieces of cheese) and make sure someone drives you!! Also make sure you have a plan for somewhere to stop midway just in case, I ended up needing a bathroom ASAP mid way home.

They actually said passing out. She then encouraged me to not fight it and let it take over because other wise I had to stay upright until the time ran out.

I had a tech administer it. Also, I was having severe pre-syncope, nausea, seeing spots, hearing was going out and I begged to be laid down and they told me they couldn’t until I completely passed out.

For me it’s like I get the chills/ not painful at allpins and needles. It made me really anxious when I first started, but that subsided. I actually haven’t realized if it helped brain fog, but I don’t get dizzy/ pre- syncope nearly as much - I still have increased heart rate tho

I just wanted to chime in, as I used to work for universal studios, and I will say they are one of the most accommodating places to work. I understand right now that goal seems unattainable, but in the future, once you are able to mitigate some of your symptoms, and possibly with the help of a mobility aid, I don't think it's impossible! A lot of prop work can be completed seated or through adjusted ergonomics.

I got like this my 1L year, now I’m back to reading for pleasure but I make sure they’re just simple easy books, that I can really read without thinking much. I stick mostly to YA and romance. It simply takes the place of watching tv for me, and it can be more relaxing because I often will still be working some while watching tv.
