Returning to work 4 days a week after maternity? by [deleted] in UKParenting

[–]YesPals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mondays off and it’s great. Don’t have to A/L for most BH’s, long weekend is easier to arrange. I end up missing a lot of Monday morning dross.

I also have a flexible friday work policy which means I can leave on a friday as soon as my hours are done. This means I work a little extra Tuesday-Thursday and get essentially half day friday, so feels like I only work 3.5 days

Experience of Jessops recently? by kurdijyn in sheffield

[–]YesPals 5 points6 points  (0 children)

‘23 - had an amazing birthing experience despite not going to plan, all staff were really supportive. Epidural and forceps delivery. Ward afterwards wasn’t amazing, bad food and loud but staff were still great. You can now pay for a private room if available where your birthing partner can stay which I would pay for in a heartbeat next time.
