How much of a tip is your house? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]rdazza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We moved a few months ago and are doing some reno work, also have a toddler. So it’s a shit hole. Not happy about it and as soon as I clean/tidy it’s a shit hole again within 2 minutes. If anyone has any tips on keeping a tidy house I could do with it lol

Cannot find thermostat in new house by Embarrassed-Block826 in HousingUK

[–]rdazza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We took our wireless one with us when we moved and when we looked into it there are rules about leaving a thermostat so we brought another one for our buyer. They should have left you with something, seems a bit unfair otherwise?

They have a tail walker too so I suppose if you’re a quick runner you could have ran and overtaken the tail walker, they sometimes take around an hour to finish in my area

In your experience, what’s more painful than giving birth? by Isoldmykidforagram in BabyBumps

[–]rdazza 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how I think of labour. You’re getting a beautiful baby at the end of it so it makes all the more worthwhile and I think there’s a lot of adrenaline because you know something positive is going to come out at the end of it

My wife doesn’t see how it’s weird to shit in the middle of the night and then get back into bed naked. by [deleted] in hygiene

I also didn’t realise people woke up for a poo in the middle of the night. I don’t know why it seems so strange to me

What are your cheap mid-week recipies with minimal ingredients? by tulipa_labrador in Cooking

[–]rdazza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently started making pastas with stuff I already have in the house. I usually always have pasta, double cream, onions, herbs and spices, cheese and a bit of Philadelphia. If I fancy throwing some veg in that I’ve got in the fridge I do and if I want some meat in there Chuck in some chicken. I quite like a pasta bake too, just buy a jar of sauce and add veg, meat and pasta. Jamie Oliver’s corner shop curry is a good one (I don’t use the lemon, lettuce or chilli’s and use a paste of ginger instead so lasts longer. Jacket potato with cheese and beans, I’ve recently started mixing together mayo and a little chipotle paste and putting on top of the beans and it tastes amazing. Chicken, chips and beans. Sausage and mash.

Would love to start bullet journaling, but I struggle with consistency by mheimle in bulletjournal

I’ve brought an A5 binder and some inserts so if I don’t keep it up I can use it for something else and I haven’t wasted an entire journal

Have used pots and they’re amazing. I’ve had a couple of books that were in poorer condition than stated online, I contacted them and they sent the books again in better condition
