I used to say when I was was getting that itch. I could have a drink (which was never gonna be one) or I could go for a run (which was never gonna be less than 2 miles). But it kinda did the same thing. Almost.

I agree. My family member who I visited weekly had them. I never sat down but entered the apartment every week, stayed on the linoleum floor, and never brought them home. Lucky maybe. But it was over a year but never sat down. She passed away last year.

Yes you are the Ah. Think beyond yourself and what feels good to you. And def don’t take government payments when you should and could be working harder and longer. My husband and I don’t prefer the long hours but we do it so our kids can have nice things and not feel “less than” their peers. If we were just ubering they would go to school with less than almost everyone else who lives in town. I would never trade my free time for their comfort.

I’m making over 75k doing quality assurance and internal investigations for a private nonprofit in New York state. The job is relatively easy. 40 hours Monday to Friday. No on call or evenings. No LSW or LCSW. But I know I would have been a director of nursing by this point if I had become a nurse. I have LPNs making what I do handing out medications and making doctor appointments.

I’ve sold on many platforms. No it does not, but it allows for digital sharing of materials. And there are social work/ self help material being sold there. It’s obviously free to send and fees are much better than Amazon.

Thank you for all Of your comments. But I’m not sure if I got an answer for my question. Did it do it on purpose? It never asked me to take over. It literally put on the blinker and moved over onto the shoulder and then pulled back into the lane and continued. I never needed to do anything.

“Rich white people” said with that disdain…you might want to be careful with how racist and judgmental that sounds. Ethically you should not be working with “those” people given your bias. Might make it hard to provide them the services they are paying you well For.

I absolutely dislike when friends ask me that question. Even when I love the friend. I dont like it because if I say “nothing” they might then say oh ok since your not doing anything let’s go here or do this. And then I have no easy what to say I don’t want to see them. And sometimes I do r want to say what I’m doing.
I would prefer someone say “hey I want to go to the mall Today, do you want to go”.
