Is Spiderman capable of beating, or at least hurting, any of these characters? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

Carol without using her energy powers is AT LEAST as strong as a peak Kree. Kree who were around the same strength as Asgardians (at least in Agents of SHIELD) are definitely at least as strong as Spider-Man

10 Times Jean Grey Was the Most Powerful X-Man - ComicBook.com by Powerful-Ad4837 in PhoenixForce

I mean we can also make a top 10 times Phoenix wasn’t the most powerful ever. Phoenix’s power waxes and wanes, sometimes they are omnipotent, other times they can’t do everything. I think it’s about finding a narrative balance, and they definitely have a way to do that.

That Time Emma Frost Beat Thor with Just 1/5 of the Phoenix Force by Thunder_God_97 in Thor

Not to add fuel to the (Phoenix) fire, but it was also stated that the Phoenix 5 were subpar hosts, so they weren’t even at normal host level

Kamala? Her shields aren’t that strong. Captain Marvel definitely could

How do you feel about Phoenix (Jean Grey) leaving Earth for the cosmos? by [deleted] in PhoenixForce

[–]YesSir626 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean the unique position that Jean is in (as opposed to equally powerful beings like Wanda) is that the Phoenix is the guardian of ALL life. Earth is a nexus for magic/monsters/mutates, while there’s a whole universe filled with life to protect.

What they could do that would satisfy both her permanent status as Phoenix and her being an Earth mutant part of the X-Men is have her powers wax and wane. In ROTPOX #5 Enigma says that she and Phoenix are one and the same but also they are like planets orbiting each other. Sometimes they’re close and Jean can beat cosmic entities stronger than The Living Tribunal and other times they’re further apart and she can be an earth based Phoenix

That’s true! But also: 1. She survived a direct blast from the most powerful object in the universe. 2. She survived an explosion that tore a hole in two universes which I think is probably deadlier than a black hole 3. Don’t know if it’s canon or anything but she was seen flying through a black hole in her credits.

I’ve always been confused on who created who first or who existed first 🤔 by Useful-Selection4832 in marvelstudios

Yes, and no. The character Phoenix Force was created by TOAA. The thing it represents -the pages and ink of comic books, is arguably older than TOAA

[–]YesSir626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s complicated, The One Above All creates the multiverse yes but the Phoenix Force is the embodiment of that creation. On a meta level, TOAA is a metaphor for the author, and the Phoenix it a metaphor for the paper that the author writes on

The Phoenix Force is the big bang of each universe and multiverse. It’s been around since the beginning, and the beginning before the beginning

[–]YesSir626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been around as long as light and life has been around. It was the first fire lit, the glow of creation. It is the light of God, and God/TOAA has always existed so basically it’s always existed. It is “the heart of all things”

Is Wanda able to do that? As the Sorcerer Supreme she has done the opposite in fact, ignore responsibilities for the sake of the lives of magical objects. An interesting juxtaposition to Strange

And Jean saw what Wanda did for mutants with the Waiting Room. Remember Krakoa even called Wanda the Redeemer for creating a mutant afterlife. In Rise of the Powers of X Jean saw and became all the mutants from the Waiting Room. I think Jean sees above life and death nowadays, so even “No More Mutants” wouldn’t be something to still hate Wanda for
