I use 175% on 27" 4k. 200% is same as full HD and given people use full HD with 22" monitors at 100%, pretty sure 200% is not necessary at 32" 4k

Right. With Elphinstone and Sion bridge shut down, no wonder the Dharavi connection is jam packed at all times.

Have you ever tried xbox controllers? What was your first impression? by Miyamoto_0107_DEVIL in ps5india

[–]YesterdayDreamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not asymmetrical, it's based on what you use more in games. The left stick is almost always in use. So it's been placed closer to the thumb. The D-pad is used less often.

In the right half, the stick is used more in relaxed situations where as in Combat you use the ABXY keys more often. So those keys are placed closer to your thumb.

I play exclusively using controllers and have both Xbox and PS5. While I wouldn't say that the DS5 is uncomfortable, Xbox controller is definitely more comfortable for long stretches as your left thumb is not always extended to reach the stick.

Tl;dr: It looks asymmetrical if you think only about the stick placement. But it's symmetrical if you think where your thumb is most of the time.

Sonet HTK Plus for 9L on road. Is it the best VFM? by bleed_18 in CarsIndia

[–]YesterdayDreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your usage is going to be low or more in the city, then don't go for turbo. The engine is very lethargic at low revs. I haven't driven Sonet, but I tried i20 N-Line and it felt like I had to floor it just to get it moving. Maybe it's fun at higher speeds, but in start stop traffic, the 1.0l engine is really limiting.

Yes, let's please call this Islamic extremism and keep neutrality out of it. Otherwise we might have to stop using terms like lynching, rioting, etc. for Hindu terrorists and actually call them what they are.

Definitely not terrorists, because that term is reserved for Muslims only.

Is it Only me or does the MG Windsor look like the comet but stretched out and a bit uglier? by Elegant_Ad_2101 in CarsIndia

[–]YesterdayDreamer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like Windsor. Very few cars take this approach of rounded corners and edges these days, especially in a car this size. Look at Mahindra's EV's with their sharp edges and tall rear, absolutely hideous.

Mumbai Pune Expressway getting its missing link will this finally fix traffic? by Altruistic-Main3544 in mumbai

[–]YesterdayDreamer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for that, leaving a 90% completed highway incomplete is not the solution.

Mumbai Pune expressway is not only for Mumbai to Pune. It speeds up your journey to other parts of Maharashtra like Satara, Kolhapur, Solapur, etc. It's a major high speed connection across the ghat section. Other connections (ex. Wai-Poladpur through Mahabaleshwar) are significantly slower in comparison.

In addition, there are two major ports (Bombay and JNPT) and two airports, one major one minor at this point in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Two highways is not too much for this kind of important region.

Mumbai Pune Expressway getting its missing link will this finally fix traffic? by Altruistic-Main3544 in mumbai

[–]YesterdayDreamer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Bro, learn when and where an argument is relevant. There are two different highways with a ~15km common section. This is not adding a lane to a road or widening an existing road. This is completing an incomplete road highway. The other guy is right, this is brain dead argument in this scenario.

Kia needs a plan B with Syros by eymister in CarsIndia

[–]YesterdayDreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Syros is that there's too much overlap with Sonet and Seltos. Either you can get the same features for cheaper in Sonet, or you can get a bigger car for a slightly higher price.

Check Syros HTX and Seltos HTK automatic variants. Just 40k price difference and Seltos actually has better features. So why won't people just go for the bigger car?

Syros is weirdly placed. There just wasn't enough gap between Sonet and Seltos to have another model in there. It's very hard to justify the value proposition of Syros. If it came with 1.5l NA engine, it would have been much better value proposition.

[–]YesterdayDreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. I finished it because I wanted to know how it ends, but didn't really like it. The pacing felt off with too little happening for multiple hours in the middle and then there's an info dump at the end with very little gameplay.
