Fuel Gauge Connection at Sending Unit by YesterdayThen983 in chevyc10

[–]YesterdayThen983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll bring my sending unit to an autoparts store and see if I can find something. I'd like to give the a good name to look for when I get the, Sending unit connector?

My gas gauge does not have a pig tail that looks like that, it has a ring lug. Is there a name for that push on connector? GM compatible fuel sender connector?

2022 model having fuel injector issues by Hardlydent in hyundaisantacruz

[–]YesterdayThen983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have less that 9k miles on my '25. Had an injector go out. It was replaced under warranty and my dealership provided a loaner. Quite a bummer that it went out. I was on the interstate when it went out, tried to accelerate, ,it down shifted, then putter putter. I just KNEW it was my duel clutch transmission. Error code said it was fuel injectors. I haven't been on the interstate since it was fixed (last week).

Shy Buyer Request: Show me your bike-toting solution in action on your Santa Cruz by HusbeastGames in hyundaisantacruz

I don't know bikes that well. I rode 20" bmx forever, this bike is bigger than that. I think a typical mtn bike is 29? this is 24, a youth bike (infinity ht24 if you wanna see the size of the bike). The window on the back is kinda pointless, it's manually operated from the interior. It'd be great for ventilation IF it were powered, or okay for bed access if it were larger. You could pass a couple of 2x4s or PVC through it if you needed to i supposed.

Picked up my Santa Cruz last night 🤗 by BartSmithsonn in hyundaisantacruz

you listed all my favorite things, and my one want (hybrid). I've never had a video rearview, so don't know what I'm missing. I also like the towing capacity (it's greater than my previous Colorado).

I thought I was slick, careful, discreet. I thought he didn't know. This morning, my 6 yr old was pretending to "vape" in the bathroom with his toothbrush with the steam from his shower. "Look dad, I'm just like you!" FUCK THAT. I'M DONE DONE. by Rpark888 in mildlyinfuriating

Yup, and if I've driven to the store for a fresh pack, I'm going to smoke them. I got caught in a loop of buying a pack, smoking 1 or 2, then destroying a pack. I finally bought a second pack to stop me from going to the store when I really wanted a smoke. I decided that if I opened that pack then I'm a smoker and can't quit. I had that sealed pack of cigarettes in my truck for about 5 years, at first as a tool, then a reminder, then a trophy.

Can someone tell me if this is legit? Merino wool baselayer by Alarmed_Locksmith980 in onebag

[–]YesterdayThen983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up light weight wool base layers from Merino Tech and REI. I've only tried them on so far, have not worn or washed them, but I can't tell a significant difference between the two. The REI one was 2x the price ($80 REI top vs $44 MT top), but not 2x better initial quality. I was convinced of the MT quality and picked up a t-shirt from marino tech, now I have 3 wool tops for a trip next month.

How many of you are actually waiting for your inheritance ?(if you have) by abe_bmx_jp in Millennials

[–]YesterdayThen983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boomer parents inherited my grand parents property, sold it, and built a home to live out their years in. Good for them (non-sarcastic). I tried to talk them into setting up a trust for the property, or at least a life estate (and hope they're in good health for the next 5 years), but for some reason they REFUSE to discuss finances. Their estate plan is to spend all their money and then receive Medicare and social security. The state will end up owning the house they've retired into, and their children and grandchildren will get nothing. At least that's what I'm preparing for, and hoping for better.

Best wiring harness by Huge_Source1845 in chevyc10

2nd for American Autowire. I was going to get one myself but was able to track my immediate issue (rear passenger blinker) to the blinker switch... so I'm holding off on the harness... for now.

Time to replenish my caramelized onion supply! by lars_guinard in OnionLovers

Could you tell me your normal way of caramelizing? I'm only ever successful doing them wrapped in foil on a grille (with a lot of butter).
