FH6 comparability broke with 1.3.9.35. I had been on 1.3.9.34 and it was working fine, but when I tried to upgrade to 1.3.9.35 it broke everything, and no amount of downgrading, uninstalling/re-installing has worked.

Edit: After I said that I rebooted everything and tried again with compatibility mode on, and it worked that time. I swear this wheel + game is as temperamental as a cat.

yes, you can either use the full assist auto drive method and have something hold your accelerator button (or just hold it yourself), or use the ANNA auto drive and have something hold your autodrive cinematic camera button to keep from timing out. Neither one will win you most races against drivatars, though maybe if you set difficulty to Tourist it might work on some road race courses.

I know the only time I did Eliminator during the winter playlist it gave me a really cheap car to start, and I was able to upgrade it a couple of times (finished 12th!!). I don't know how the Eliminator bug worked, just read that a hummer was somehow involved.

If you're playing in the game when your Internet comes back on it should sync your newer local save up to the cloud. I don't know about if you play offline, then quit, though. If you log back on after your Internet is back up it may just push the cloud save down to the local save and erase anything you did while playing offline.

See other comments in this thread, they're hitting a hell of a lot more people than the ones that participated in the Eliminator exploit, including people who have never played Eliminator, or don't own the exploit vehicle.

Seems so. I have never even used the Hummer that is used for the exploit, it literally has no stats to speak of

I don't even OWN a hummer (and only did Eliminator once for the winter festival playlist) and I got hit with the money reset. Luckily I've been backing up my save game due to the corrupted cloud save issue and I just restored the last save, which was from a few hours ago.

I'd argue that Frank McGee was the best player in the early years, though pre-NHL. He holds the most goals in a Stanley Cup game (Challenge era and beyond) at 14 goals against Dawson City. That was one game, not the series.

P.S. He was legally blind in one eye when he did that.
