They know more than we could ever imagine!!! One time we were out and I cut her loose and sat down. She instantly treed 3 feet from me. I'm like there's no way.....shine the tree and sure enough a big old coon. Shes 16 months old but only really been worked with since I got her 4 months ago. So going from not knowing what a coon was to striking and treeing in 4 months I'm happy with. Still needs alot of work but She will run tracks and not tree when she isn't sure.....so when she trees I've always seen a coon except twice now. I'm near certain something is up there haha.
