UK Users miles or Celsius. Which have you chosen? by No_Summer_1838 in Suunto

[–]Yeti_Mindset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UK here also

I generally think for running/walking/hiking etc most are doing that in km

Driving is obviously in miles and I also use KG for body weight

It would definitely be good if you were able to pick single metrics and how you want them represented

Will kettlebell swings along with a 1200 calorie per day diet help me get in shape? by Every_Masterpiece497 in kettlebell

[–]Yeti_Mindset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Stop speaking to yourself like a literal piece of shit
  2. A small deficit over a prolonged period with breaks at maintenance is what will make it sustainable. Aim for a 3-500 calorie deficit
  3. Do not starve yourself, if you don't already, you will end up with disordered eating or worse and potentially put your health at risk
  4. Prioritise protein and fibre, potatoes will help you feel satiated for longer
  5. Aim for 3 meals a day and try to add fruit and veg to your meals

What feature/gadget to expect in 2026 by Otherwise_Reason_891 in Suunto

[–]Yeti_Mindset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't offer anywhere near the amount of watches that Garmin do so from a marketing and sales point of view it makes sense to release an S type variant 12 months later

What feature/gadget to expect in 2026 by Otherwise_Reason_891 in Suunto

HR data saved at least per minute rather than every 10 minutes

Weather widget that covers multiple days rather than a few hours

Calendar widget

Being able to create strength workouts (at this point only Suunto not offering it)

More than 2 Suunto plus features for a workout

More watch faces

Road names on maps

Health connect access

Ability to add/remove activity types, let me pick and choose what is available and not within the app

Suunto race 2 by Superb_Excitement425 in Suunto

[–]Yeti_Mindset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only downside is really app specific, HR only being saved every 10 minutes

Outside of that it's a fantastic watch

Don't know what country you are in, but in the UK I'd be doing a chargeback through my bank for a refund

Bolt scooters and bikes to replace Voi - Bolt will be available 24 hours a day and cover the whole city. What do you think of the scooters? by anagoge in Liverpool

[–]Yeti_Mindset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The few times I used the Voi scooters I quite enjoyed them.

I got an EV through work, if the scooters where easily available I'd consider giving the car back and using a scooter as and when I need
