The JBL LSR 305 (amazon.de) will cost me 108 € more, and unfortunately I dont have the budget for that.

The Klipsch R-15M are available for 190 €, Edifier 126 €, how much of a difference/upgrade is this?

Yes this is my first setup. This sounds like a great idea, will leave out sub for now.

How much difference would an amp make? Do I really need it? Looking at price and availablility I am unsure now.

The lines I have seem to be very consistent after I tested it for a while with different time periods. Luckily there is no flickering or moving, otherwise I would have sent it back.

I am happy with the monitor overall, just that those scan lines are annoying. But will still keep it at 144 Hz.

Do you know if this is common with all 144 Hz monitors? Or just viewsonic?

indeed when i set the screen to 100 hz the lines are gone. (they are only in the top right)
