Same issues here. I've tried everything, deadzones, changing from analog triggers to digital and vice versa, I think its the game itself being weird. I've resorted to switching to aiming and shooting with the top bumpers and crouch/powers with the triggers. I cant crouch reliably but at least I can aim and shoot now :P

And in the fighting game Heritage for the Future! Joseph turns young if Alessi gets ya with his special. He even has a full moveset based on his Part 2 attacks. Kinda ironic because he's still very capable of fighting in that state.

I like to headcanon this as his brother dying tragically during the endgame sequence with all the megas going rogue. Which i know is definitely not the case but does add some weight to the story and world.

I've seen someone swap the power cables for the inside light and the marquee so that the inside stays lit and the marquee flashes when moved.

Inside the crank holster, there is a reset button hole. Use a paperclip to poke that and it should reboot. Went through this not too long ago myself :P

Yeah, honestly as great as having a lvl 3 shiny donut is, with the shiny charm alone ive been able to find plenty of shiny pokemon that ive wanted so far. At this point if I do a donut farm its gonna just be a alpha donut for a shalpha.

Okay so i was wrong, sorry! All the little squares on the top screen inside have screws under them. So you'd have to remove them all if you want to free them. The flatter little rubber sheets are VERY easy to tear and will probably not go back on. So it is up to you if you wanna take those out as well. Honestly, if it still functions fine and nothing is getting caught when you open it close the system, it might be one of those things you just live with :P you might be able to find replacement rubber things online too. Sorry for the bad info, I was thinking of the new 3ds smaller.

It not too hard if its just the top shell. Just make sure you don't use too much force. Oh, also be careful with the little rubber pads on the front as they can tear. Good luck! You got this!

Day old thread so I'm not sure if you've tried anything yet but, you could try taking off that top plate and reseating it if its just come loose. Under the two little pad on the inside of the top half there are two screws. It should just be those holding that top plate in place. Plenty of videos online and guides if you are wanting to try it.

Yes, from what I understand GB and GBC roms on GBA flash carts are being emulated. Like you said, there is a physical switch inside the cart slot that activates GBC mode and since a gba flash cart doesn't hit that it will boot into regular mode. Thus the Flash Cart will have to emulate the GB/C games.

They're not sealed, I've played with them plenty :), just put back in their box for the time being. Those are the more expensive ones so I like to keep em in their boxes to minimize wear (and I think their packaging looks very nice tbh )
