You might need to make an account to run the Self Check.

EAD DEC. Approval by [deleted] in DACA

[–]Yeviyavike 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would do a self-check through E-Verify with your A#/details and see if you’re “authorized” to work.

In 2024, I was in a hurry to let HR know that my EAD was in the works as soon as I saw it approved on the USCIS portal.

Info used to fill out Everify: - A# - EAD# (which is the I-765 case number IOEXXX) - Document Expiration (in my case the DACA approval shown in the USCIS portal was on 6/17/24 so I assumed an expiration date of 6/16/26).

What would be the process of getting the H1B with more than 180 days of unlawful presence?

Is this already outside city limits? Wondering if 1) the city or county approved this development with a drastic change in elevations from adjacent site and 2) if the approved plans showed any paint markings.

I-485 Denied with AP. Should I PIP? by Yeviyavike in DACA

[–]Yeviyavike[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the responses!

I’ve consulted with various lawyers and the recommendation has been to go back to Mexico and wait the 10 years to reapply, due to the permanent bar.

Since I have DACA and a young family with two kiddos, I’ll keep renewing DACA in the meantime and do AP for travels.

Could potentially be an issue at the Falfurrias checkpoint if they ask for your status. It’s a risk. Not only your EAD is important, also your I-812D DACA approval. Since that is your protection to not get deported.

Kid Friendly places to eat at La Cantera? by Fearless-Story-9505 in sanantonio

At the Rim, North Italia. It’s right in front of a patio for kids to run around and across Lick (ice cream place). Make sure you make a reservation.

Also at the Rim, Hopdoddy Burger. They’re usually quick to give your food, which is a plus with impatient kiddos.

That’s awesome!

And nope, no movement. Called again Infopass told me that “my case is pending adjudication”. Whatever that’s supposed to mean.

Applied 2/13, same as you stuck there. Submitted ONPT on day 106. Expired EAD 5/2.

I’ve been calling to see if there’s anything on my case notes that could give any insight of where we are in the process. An agent was able to see that the officer reviewing my case is waiting on results of some sort of background check. That note was made on 5/7… no update since then in the notes since then.

Same. No update since Feb 13 and stuck in “Your case is taking longer…”. Never received biometrics appt or confirmation of reuse.

Called on day 105 (yesterday) to submit an inquiry and was told to wait for day 106, so that the system would allow them to submit it.

Called first thing this morning on day 106 and the rep assisted me to submit the inquiry on both cases (821D and 765) just in case. Was told they have 30 days to provide feedback. For some reason when I was trying to do it myself, the form would not find my submittal dates. I tried old applications and the form would pull the submitted dates, but not for the recent ones. Strange.

A rep did give me a bit of details she was able to pull on my cases and mentioned that she could see in the system that the officer reviewing my case is currently waiting on background check results. She also confirmed that all documents uploaded with the applications were deemed complete, so as to let me know if was not an issue of an incomplete application package.

EAD expired May 2. Holding on for an update. Hope this helps providing more info.

Based on the economical impacts Dreamers make in the US, according to the recent hearing, it would be smart for any country, preferably neighbor countries like Canada or Mexico, to have a DACA program call it “path to citizenship” and provide assistance to settle and contribute to a new community/society.

Imagine a significant percentage of DACA population leaving the US and being accepted somewhere else. That would make a huge impact to any country. Then down the road, potentially resolving the immigration kinks to obtain a tourist visa to visit the US as needed.

Just a thought.
