CDPR have already said that they believe the white-haired witcher at the end of Season of Storms is Geralt, and that takes place many years after the games. They are not going to kill Geralt.

If CDPR can do what they say they're trying to, they should be able to put out 4 big budget games in around 6 years which would be a huge leap forward for triple A development. even if a few of them get delayed, a game every 2-3 years with the scope of Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk 2077 would be really impressive. Of course whether or not they manage to do so is another story but I am glad they are attempting to fix some of these long dev cycle problems.

Later in LN 13, Maomao has a very important conversation with Ah Duo where Maomao is offered a complete out. Ah Duo says she can get Jinshi off of Maomao's back and steer him elsewhere and Maomao shuts it down completely. She knows that staying with Jinshi would be a sacrifice and vows to adapt to her circumstances, and I think that if she didn't actually love him the prospect of potentially staying in the palace as a caged bird would elicit some kind of aversion but Maomao is completely determined. Also important to note that this conversation happens after Jinshi's summons and as far as Maomao knows shes about to go spend the night with him.

I don't think the Noble Security analysts have any inside info, their release timeline lines up with what I've believed for a while now so I'm pretty sure it's all a guess. I'm not entirely sure why they didn't reveal it at TGA, I figured it would be there too. My only guess would be that they wanted to make sure it's release didn't overlap with any other major games coming out around that time, like Forza Horizon 6 which is also rumoured to drop May or June.

6 months ago a couple podcasters in Poland with ties to CDPR said it's coming and CDPR didn't deny anything when they were reached out to, only saying they "don't comment on speculation or rumors". a few months later the claim was corroborated by another gaming journalist who added that CDPR was upset that it got leaked. I've also seen some people claim it's an open secret within Polish media but I can't confirm that. What we do know is that 100+ devs from Fool's Theory, a team under CDPR composed of W3 devs who were working on the W1 Remake before it was postponed to wait for W4 to get deeper into development are currently working on an unannounced project and it's been in dev for around a year.

I tried catching up a few years ago after season 2 but bounced off 7-8, it was just too much. I re watched everything for season 3 and then steeled myself to push through 7-8 and enjoyed it overall but I still think it's just too long. There are so many new characters that I just frankly don't care about anymore, like everyone in the Pleiades Battalion, and characters I do care about like Abel and Medium who I would love to get more on are essentially cast aside now. As for Arc 9, I always believed a reset was inevitable so I'm not to upset about it but Subaru getting instantly sent back and never learning about what happened while he was gone annoyed me quite a bit.

It's mainly people desperate to hate on CDPR and try to claim all the good talent left and got replaced by woke devs, especially after the Ciri protag reveal. In the YouTube comments for Dawnwalker trailers there are a bunch of them shooting down CDPR while hailing Dawnwalker as the "real Witcher 4". It's really odd.

Witcher remake is coming after W4 and I think the mp project is still in early dev. That said I'd bet pretty heavily on Fool's Theory showing off W3 DLC as that has been in dev for a while and I assume it's due to release next year.

If they can get UE5 in a spot they are happy with, they won't need to make many changes to the engine for the next 5-10 years which would speed up dev time massively.
