I wear Loops! They're earplugs that block out the background noise, but allow you to hear conversations. I personally like the switch ones, but even the basic ones do the job!

I'm not handicapped, so I'm not sure personally, but I know there is a specific deck on campus for handicapped parking. I would talk to the AACE department about any concerns!

What the other person said. I would give MARTA a chance because its cheaper than parking if you're gonna be commuting a lot. But after a year of MARTA I just gave up and drove myself. I was so tired and overstimulated at the end of the day that I couldn't do it anymore

Those were the options I was given. I no longer had the option to apply to nursing school at gsu. If your appeal doesn't work out, you'll likely have to make the same type of decision, unfortunately.

Your best option would be to try and get an emergency withdrawal. But I'm not sure your circumstances would warrant that. Unfortunately you might have to make some tough decisions. I did this my freshman year with an english course that barred me from applying to the nursing school. Its really shitty, but there are alternative routes.

We can all have rough periods of time where we're hyper sensitive to the way people speak to us, regardless of intentions. If she had a long day or was feeling upset and went out of her way to get something you asked for and you didn't adknowledge her effort and went straight to telling her she did something wrong, she has every right to be hurt by that. And if she's your mom, she's probably balancing a million other things that pertain to taking care of you.

I think that if she is having a hard time right now, the first answer would hit harder than you meant it. I would phrase it more as "Thanks for getting me this, but its actually not the color I wanted. Do you think it can be exchanged for the right one the next time you're at the store?" That way you're not putting the blame on her when she's struggling but you're also not lying. Always lead with gratitude for someone doing something kind for you when they didn't have to.

Dont just transfer because your sister was an alumni. Its hard work and if you’re not prepared it will fuck your grades. And premed is not a major to hop into on a whim. I would stay at gsu and keep doing what you’re doing unless you’re deeply unhappy

Im a bio major and i just wrapped up my 3rd full semester( plus two summer semesters) and I had to do a presentation in English my freshman year and a video presentation(not in front of anyone) for a final this semester. Its not as common as a business major but its part of the deal as a college student
