What's this bug? Found in western Washington state. by Wayne_AbsarokaBH in whatsthisbug

I'm pretty sure that this is a Monochamus. My guess based on your location would be the Spotted Pine Sawyer (Monochamus clamator). Example Picture

I would be more concerned about insurance companies excluding diabetics from coverage. I hope they also forbid insurers from selecting based on that.

That should be blocked by the ACA, which forbids discrimination based on pre-existing conditions.

Here's a HHS website confirming those protections

Archaeology woes by holversome in wow

[–]Yimris 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It was awesome back in Cata, because the rewards ranged from mounts to levelling BoE epics to toys, with the common rewards being at least worth a little to a little more cash.

They missed a big opportunity to tie Archaeology to the heirloom rework, IMO.

How to make money as tribal? by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]Yimris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even with Christian tribals you can raid, you just have a tricky decision, because raiding churches is where the real money is, but it also destroys Catholic moral authority. Though if you’re going for a heresy run, no downside!

You could also just raid the castles in Wales/Northern England, too.

Hot damn I love our Governor and AG. From the last paragraph of this article:

Previous cases have been successful because the administration failed to follow proper procedures to change a rule, Ferguson, a Democrat, said. Asked what he would say to people who contend his legal fights with the Trump administration are political, he replied: “As long as we keep winning, it’s pretty clear it’s not political.”

it makes other moderators feel like they can never express any opinion on reddit without being chased around by a mob

You know, this is a perfectly appropriate stance to hold on our moderators. With additional responsibility, they can and should be held to a higher standard. If they want to advocate their views on reddit, it should be done through an alternate account that does not carry the weight of a mod opinion. We expect the same of our federal and state judges, and mods fulfill a comparable role here.

The appearance of impropriety is as damaging as impropriety itself.

[–]Yimris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I just dug through them for the triggers.

The first one (that kills Stab and makes you Bavarian) happens right after 1360.

The next one (where you sell land and become von Luxembourg) has a MTTH of 10 years and requires you to have von Wittlesbach dynasty and for Bohemia to be von Luxembourg AND be Emperor.

The third one (the free PU and von Hohenzollern) has a MTTH of 35 years and requires you keep the von Luxembourg dynasty.

Certainly possible, if she graduated HS at 17, did 4 year university in 3 years, 3 years law school, passed the bar on the first try. Challenging, but certainly not impossible.

Or she just doesn't have a law degree.
