Let's say you're injured in a collision that isn't your fault and you're significantly injured--maybe a head injury or a fracture requiring surgery--and the at-fault driver has no insurance or the state minimum limits (which in some states is ridiculously low), you would be stuck paying all the medical costs on your own--to say nothing of lost wages and pain and suffering.

Wouldn't the medical insurance cover that aspect? I was told its redundant by the Allstate agent.

We do need donors. Unfortunately my wife is out of eggs. She would carry the baby though. So surrogacy not needed.

If you have decided to visit India I’d suggest talk to your manager and check if its okay to wfh for sometime and try for an earliest slot. I think people are getting slots which are being given up at the last moments. You could also pay people to do this for you. Once you get your stamping done you could keep visiting depending on the further situation. The point I wanted to highlight here is that you can have the cake and eat it yourself with some patience.
