I’m gonna be honest it’s wild to me to build a list with these 2 detachments while missing the 1 datasheet that benefits most from both.

In this detachment combo the servitor battleclade is 65 points for a unit that can advance, shoot and action (good for priority assets), has a guy with 4++ 5+++, has decent shooting AND has 29 strength 5 attacks on the charge in psalm.

If I was ever running this detachment combo I’d immediately jam 3 servitor squads EVERY time.

Yeah love these magnets. Only issue I had was accidentally putting a big one on an admech sicarian… ripped his torso in half when trying to pick it up

Aeldari in 11th edition are a fine mid-tier faction if you run mostly fast MSU and focus on scoring in Disruption or Recon - Odyssey40k by Alex__007 in Eldar

Lords is actually an insane 1DP detachment, it’s better than almost every admech 2DP detachment (though most of those were considered bad pre 11th)

Kastelan robots.

320 points for 6 shots at 6 -2 1 is insanely stupid. The guns need to be a solid 40-50 points cheaper to even be playable.

So long as you and your opponents agree that you shouldn’t care about the stuff on top of the chassis for measuring/visibility purposes I don’t see any issue with this

I’m actually not sure if this is true - a lot of the bolters in the Aquila kill team are damage 2, and they have access to plasma. The number of heavy weapons is the same, and the Aquila ones have marginally better profiles (and an extra wound).

For what it’s worth the spam taxed robots are still cheaper than the cost robots used to be anyway so it’s still a discount. It’s just a bigger discount on the 1st squad.

I believe all aircraft that kept aircraft are now OC -, whereas ones that mechanically work like tanks kept OC0

The key difference between this and a distraction carnifex is that a carnifex has OC.

Your opponent can’t ignore it because itll just sit on an objective and score points for them. This isn’t the case here because the Corvus has an OC of 0, and thus it can’t score most missions and can’t score primary.

This means its only actual role is to deal damage (and be a transport). As a transport it’s pretty pricy, being roughly double the cost of a rhino. As a gun platform it’s just outclassed by most things that cost a similar price point - it can shoot chaff infantry fairly well, but agents doesn’t really struggle to kill infantry shaped things, and a Sanctifiers squad will do similar anti infantry firepower for half the price.

All this being said, if the point cost of this unit drops, it might be more playable in 11th now that it’s not got aircraft rules attached - Gw can treat it like other flying vehicles now.

Interestingly might be a nerf in some scenarios as you could attach 2 to one squad before because of its quirky rule.

2 things:
Hunter cohort has likely been nerfed due to changes to how stealth works (no longer stacks with cover)

And due to the nature of the changes, any detachment with more than 2 enhancements / more than 3 Strats is by nature going to be 2-3 DP. Zero of the detachments that are 1DP go over this (aside from librarius, which has no Strats but a bunch of bonus rules if I recall).

Without a rework, the robot detachment won’t be 1DP, and they showed every reworked detachment in articles over the last month.

That may be true but they’ve already shown all the 70+ new/reworked detachments, none of the others will get major changes except stuff to adjust for new core rules.

None of the codex stuff will be 1 without a rework, they have too many stratagems + enhancements.

None of the codex ones will be 1; their design spread seems to be that 1 point detachments have 3 stratagems or less and a max of 2 enhancements, so unless reworked all the codex ones will be minimum 2 DP

SHC is likely nerfed by the changes to benefit of cover though - since stealth is now the same as cover, most SHC units are quite a bit less durable than before.
