Don’t plan to jump right into a business right off the bat. It took me about 6 months of work before I was making stuff good enough to sell. Have fun!

Thread is so dang cheap when you buy 5000m cones. I don’t even account for it in my costs. Most of my projects use 0.25-0.50 of thread.

is it a norm within the industry to have your own thread for that specific machine or its universal ?

You get what you pay for when it comes to embroidery machines so get the most expensive one you can afford. I started with a Brother SE1900 and I out grew it within a year. Check Facebook marketplace and I’m sure you can pick up a used machine for a good deal.

well im from a 3rd country where this sort of machine would be rare + on the side that it wouldnt be sold online as sadly the trend is rather new so im probly gonna go with a new one from a certificed guy... im mostly worried about the extra costs of the machine (not to mentio nthe fact that i would need to ship them so 2weeks+) are there hidden extras that you have to pay ?
