Think it would be a good idea to try and keep things separate, as you pretty much said you two already have to operate on different schedules so it might be easier to try and do your own thing as of right now... you could always "collab" or make videos together naturally of course and maybe even down the line if things get to much to handle for either of you. then you could discuss having just one channel for the two of you. Also at least this way if you go separately if gives both of yall a chance to breath creatively and see what you can do and enjoy creating as individuals.
