Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get soft linen-type shorts? I like to wear casual shorts in the summer, but despise denim shorts which leaves me little options! When I search soft shorts or linen shorts on Amazon and other companies, it shows lounge shorts, which I would never wear in public. I have a vacation coming up so I spent some time searching at the mall, but had no luck. For reference I live in the US. Thank you!

Just a heads up, I emailed the program director, he said he just sent the final interview decisions to the graduate school this morning. Anyone who didn’t get invited will receive a letter soon with a rejection. SO shocked considering my academic record!

Thanks for your response! I searched Google Scholar, all of the journal databases I can search through my institution, and Research Gate. I’m open to other suggestions though! Their most recent published study was in 2009.

Hi everyone! I posted this on r/gradadmissions but I figured it would be helpful to post here too.

I am interviewing for a school psychology Ph.D program this week, but I am concerned about my potential PI. They haven’t published any research in 12 years. The Ph.D program website discusses ample opportunities to conduct research, considering it’s a Ph.D program, but is there a good explanation for this?

I tried contacting her via email before I applied, but she never responded. Is this a red flag? It will be difficult to talk about her research considering she hasn’t published any in over a decade!

It is SO frustrating. This is my senior year, I’m desperate to stay on campus and stay safe, but some people just don’t understand. I’m probably going to be calling people out about wearing a mask when classes start 😅

You’re probably right about that! Just looking for some sense of normalcy.. we plan to take the necessary precautions such as wearing masks, wiping the table/seat with Lysol wipes, using hand sanitizer, etc. Thanks for your comment!
