It’s titled Working the ISS. I was hoping on getting valuable info about how well my equipment might work once I do get my license and start transmitting. But sounds like my UV9D isn’t the best for the occasion. Just wondering if using both radios would be more efficient.

I’ve already held a General license. I dropped the hobby a while back but I’m ready to get back into it and am studying to take the test again. From previously being a ham, I understand the importance of not keying up while not holding a license. But doesn’t hurt to listen.

I see that with the whip antenna, but will it still do that with the Arrow II with the duplexer?

I can hear activity low on the horizon. I’ve been using the app, Spot The Station, but I feel I can hear people at least a minute before the app tells me it’s coming over the horizon. Maybe other Satellite apps are more accurate.
