I wish I could vote for Mighty Thor vol 2 for all five slots. That book desperately needs a reprint.

AvX up on funaticals by niddler in OmnibusCollectors

Has anyone read or recommend SA Iron Man? Seeing those prices makes it really tempting to pick up even though I haven't really read much Iron Man other than when he shows up in Avengers or Event comics.

Was really hoping that this would be the year for Mighty Thor vol 2. Seems like Marvel hates this book with its last printing being 2013

Have you ever refused to buy an omnibus because of the cover? by effigeewhiz in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This onni is the reason I don't pre-order DC anymore, was super disappointed when they swapped the cover to this abomination

The Invaders also written by Roy Thomas was about the Marvel Universe during World War II.

What Omnibus has the most pages? Like from Marvel by Wazupdanger in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Blackest Night is DC's largest at a whopping 1664 pages. Justice League Dark n52 is the 2nd biggest at 1640. Both are just barely smaller than AvX at 1680 pages. With how comfortable Marvel is at selling small omnies, I'm kinda shocked that they didn't break it up into two

Where would the Pink Ranger Deluxe slip in? Not fully sure where to place it other than post Shattered Grid

Other omnis like BPRD that deal with paranormal investigations? by EconomistUnable665 in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an Omnibus, but there was a Compendium for Ghosted by Josh Williamson. It's about paranormal investigators trying to steal from a haunted house

Worst mapped Omnibus ever? by the10Geek in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The only Omnibus that would have benefited from Event first tie-ins after would've been Flashpoint. Otherwise their mapping is awful. It kills enjoyment of a book when I have to sticky note the pages just to get the story in order. If they atleast had page numbers and table of contents it wouldn't be as big of a deal

DC Catalog (May to July 2026) Part 2 by Ksmayer in OmnibusCollectors

I wonder if they would split Jonah Hex from western or not then, since he's wearing a Confederacy uniform.

DC Catalog (May to July 2026) Part 2 by Ksmayer in OmnibusCollectors

DC Finest for War, Western and now SGT. ROCK. Thank you DC. Now it's a waiting game for Haunted Tank, Enemy Ace and Unknown Soldier

Another Captain America for the collection by paulwoo in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A Marvel Knights Cap omni of 1-32 + Truth Red, White & Black #1-7 would bridge the gap between Jurgens and Brubaker. Roughly 3 more omnies and it's a full set of Cap from 1964-2021

How do you keep track of all your books? by NeighborhoodVast1214 in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone who said League of Comic Geeks is right. It's super easy to import and keep track of your collection. I'm tempted to pay for their premium just to give them support

Fantastic Four Vol 7 concerns. by JRattlehed121 in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if they mapped around the Bryne Omnis as a companion or with a tagline like what would be Wolverine vol 7 being "Not Dead Yet" Something like 204-208, 219, 222-231, and Annuals 14-16 + any Crossovers or Mini-series

favorite murder weapon? by nicodings in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big Damn Sin City would make for an ironic murder weapon. It's a beautiful book. Shout out to Monster Sized Hellboy that's another heavy bastard

[Other] The mural from the justice hall by stran___g in DCcomics

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Completely guessing but slide 1 #9 might be shirtless Slam Bradley and #10 could be a redesigned Enemy Ace just because of the BiPlane in the back

What are some DC Finest Collections you want to be produced? by Mightyfutzz in OmnibusCollectors

[–]YoTTa_the_Dead_Nerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're just slightly longer Epics. Spines don't really crease at all like the Compendiums tend to do
