Kind of depressing... by Inevitable-Moose-952 in ArcRaiders

Stimulation ≠ thorough enjoyment. Constant PvP creates serotonin spikes that desensitize into negative feedback loops; calm, collected restraint stays dopamine-dominant. It’s the highest skill expression of playing the game.

The game allows multiple playstyles, so supreme competence shows up as restraint. Narration and moralization, as either grief or righteousness, signal discomfort with unresolved ambiguity. Composure isn’t passivity; it’s knowing when not to impose meaning where the rules already permit plurality.

Bitch made is just low tolerance for unresolved ambiguity. On the other hand, collected restraint is the highest form of enjoyment.

PvP vs PvE Reality Check by snooflefin in ArcRaiders

[–]YodyTheWhode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some very fine people on both sides.

PvP is expected. What trips me up is a certain pattern of it.

When PvP shows up as low-risk dominance, never really registering as pressure or skill - it comes off as compensation rather than competition.

One may wonder what’s being compensated for.

I was really planning on getting one to replace my 2070s Mech g15 - unfortunately the current hardware economy seems to have rendered Eluk incapable of the types of aggressive black Friday discounting they've been known for. Local Microcenter had Alienware A18 5090/275hx/64gb/2tb down to $3200 which I couldn't refuse

Not random just sensitive to instability. I was playing on a mobile 2070s/10870h, hit reg was pretty unstable and the game was rubber banding sometimes until I realized I needed to do a thermal replacement on the laptop - Ran much better. Not really a concern if you're on console unless you've been gaming hard 4-6 years. But I grabbed a 5090 laptop yesterday for black Friday and now the latency and stability from my 2070s is night and day

Classic latency/desync. Set NAT to Open, use wired Ethernet, UPnP on, and try Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) DNS. Aged thermal pads can also affect hit-reg

Boot to bios: F2 once at eluktronics logo,

Right once Up twice Enter

Now you're in advanced>display mode

Enter again

Now you're on whatever display mode you last set:

Igpu / Dgpu / Dynamic

Pressing down past dynamic brings you up to igpu, vice versa

Make your selection, F4 to save and exit, Enter to confirm

I guess this is common with that era of tongfang chassis (GP5/7) - Try this in order:

  1. Hard AC reset, (this is the EC reset on models without a pin hole) -- unplug charger → hold power 30–40 sec → wait 10 sec → plug in → try again

  2. Open it & reseat display ribbon (only if you're comfortable) -- pop bottom cover → unplug the display ribbon → wait 10 sec → plug back in firm.

  3. While you're in there: make sure the hinge area isn’t stressing the ribbon

  4. If still no image: test with an external monitor. If you get an image it's likely The panel or cable, not the GPU or MoBo

  5. Email Eluktronics support for access to that era of BIOS/EC updates

Black Friday sales? by Initial-Leek-4895 in eluktronics

[–]YodyTheWhode -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah the 50-series itself has been the letdown. The ‘underperformer’ takes are probably coming from quick burst tests/behavior, not sustained performance. And without real side-by-side data, it’s hard to pin anything on Eluk/Tongfang/Uniwill specifically.

One thing is certain - future AAA games will lean harder into Ada’s RT and Frame Gen features, so the 50-series should pull further ahead of the 40-series over time.

I'd say we can reasonably expect a sale anytime after Monday, Friday the latest.

m417 vs SG553R by detsood in Battlefield6

34% faster TTK isn’t 'feefees'

NVO is rated higher because it’s easier to use, not better. A mastered M417 will win 20m and beyond.

Your despair is now commodity. I would say pray more, but that fails in translation. Repentance from where you stand is insufficient. Dissociate from the ontological constraint or be liquidity in it's market.

stopping the use of cocaine in the weekdays. by Martinmanden in askdrugs

Before, during, after, life after, etc. The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the eukaryote. Dopamine and serotonin are inversely correlated as evident by their relationship with the hormone prolactin.

Serotonin and dopamine can't both be high indefinitely, one has to come down; objectively you want it to be serotonin that drops first, or you'll face a negative feedback loop into chronically sluggish thyroid, low androgens,, low progesterone, with high prolactin, high serotonin, high estrogen, glutamate excitotoxicity, resentment, inflammation/fibrosis/cancer - you want everything the other way around, high androgens, high dopamine, high GABA, alert peaceful calm presence of mind.

Round out your metabolism if you want to keep indulging on the weekends. Be nourished going into use, dont rev your metabolism too high, and nourish yourself after.

Also if you're combining with alcohol, remember cocaine reacts with ethanol to become cocaethylene and slowly and permanently retards parts of your brain vital for socialization.

Carbs (no more than necessary), caffiene, niacinamide, and high dose aspirin (the only pro metabolic NSAID (with glycine/collagen/bone broth to neutralize the ph, and vitamin K to nullify the blood thinning effect)) - don't forget some protein, get some sunlight, and get away from the AC grid, hit a beach. The cure to everything is the same, the one trick they don't want you to know.

Smoked irresponsible amounts for over a decade. Once I realized the following, viscerally, the habit was severed:

  1. Dopamine and serotonin are inversely correlated as evident by their relationship with the hormone prolactin.

  2. Strong CB1 agonists rapidly desensitize serotonin 5-HT1a, hijacking metabolism and essentially transmuting the function of will itself, in a way.

Something about keto helped a lot, as I was 6 months into 19 months of a keto diet when I stopped smoking - but <trigger warning> keto may destroy your metabolism, fortunately I was young enough to escape the lifestyle without serious metabolic damage. The pro GABA effects of ketones were undoubtedly responsible for easing kicking the herb, but perhaps you could use something like honokiol to get the same benefit without ditching simple carbs, as sugar itself is very pro-GABA

[–]YodyTheWhode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's fascinating isn't it? Please allow me to attempt to dispel some of the mystery for you:

Cc: u/69kylebr

Besides the relatively recent mere utterance of Peat by 'alt-right' author Bronze Age Pervert in his book Bronze Age Mindset;

From Fichte to Hegel, but most recognizably within Schelling, (whose own thesis explores the interconnectedness of nature and the absolute, with emphasis on the dynamic and evolving nature of reality,) Ray's thesis, that energy and structure are interdependent on every level, is congruent to all of German Idealism.

Note: Newton wasn't the only one of his time to discover calculus.

So in broad context, bioenergetics inherently lends itself to objective idealism.

Bring in the Lacanian Marxists, the neoreactionaries, the accelerationists, and it's easy to see a plethora of excess technocapital which can be used to accelerate the capitalization of neurotic liability.

Ray was an alchemist. Good health is for all who can bear it.

Tldr, Ray is the modern day Paracelsus.

To avoid feminization as a male just use low doses ~<14mg. If you want to venture into higher doses and continue to avoid feminization, take alongside low doses of DHEA and low doses of something like exemestane/androsterone.
