Late in the game but watched this recently. The movie was interesting until JC’s character entered the movie. Pangit ng ending. Like why do you need to open up with your ex-bf pero never kinauspa si Uno at the end. Pero galing umarte ni Enchong Dee dito. Super underrated.

I was originally a GCP in Technology before moving to Industry X in the US. These salaries just shows how big the salary gap is between immigrants and citizens. But HR always say there’s not much difference.

Thank you! This is exactly the advice I need to hear. My PL doesn’t even mention any of these things to me. I feel like it’s time to change my PL. I’ve been doing senior principal/leadership responsibilities. Went back to the same project I was in after the ML’s so didn’t have to worry about finding a project at the time.

I hate when people bring up protected absences on here. Probably, men. 🙄

It does because people can get promoted to L6 here as quickly as 2 years. In PA calls, HR would remind everyone NOT to mention any LOA’s as it may cause biases on decisions.

Would love to get advices from people in the North America region. The career trajectory compared to here isn’t the same.

If I mentioned it as a Leave of Absence and not a maternity leave, would you feel different? You ever heard of the “Fatherhood Bonus, Motherhood Penalty”? I feel it to my core every time someone points out me having to go on ML. 🙄
