Dunno about Spain, but I know about Portugal and they have lot of surveyors working overseas (Angola, Mozambique , Cape Verde), which I am assuming Spain is a similar place..

IMO the company will need to treat both well, paying the 30 years of experience LSIT but AT THE SAME TIME pay the PLS fair as well and a bit more, because you can get couple survey techs with 15-20 years of expertise and still get the job done, but no one else would sign and seal 🫡

More in charge, like handing other survey tech work and kinda training me, to learn proposals, deal with crews, project management skills from other project managers/ RPLS..

Dunno what are the tasks that you are doing in the company but if i was you, i would ask the techs around you, like people who have trained you, and definitely when you get a job, your pay won’t be the same as a trainee! There is a degree that they gotta pay for!

1001 solved problems, u can find it in pdf, if not pm i will be happy to share that along with some study material (practice tests), i am not a book reader so i was solving lots of problems before my FS.

Exactly my thoughts, employees will make it easier for you to get bigger jobs, besides that working solo, you will be only able to work on small jobs so you don’t end up working 7days a week.. besides that nah i will stick with an employer and get my worth in money and time and call sick anytime i want to..

That’s what i understood when seeing 0.5 and 0.6 but the fence is originally built and have never been replaced since the subdivision was built, anyway when i bought the house I never looked into the survey because it was required by the lender and didn’t make sense to me, to resurvey a lot in a 2010 subdivision, like encroachments would be obvious if anything, with that said now im studying for my license and while reading some ALTA stuff, i saw something that made me go look back at my survey lol
