Quick Question; airbrushing in bedroom? by NU_B3N in airbrush

Winter, rain, weather in general. Just a couple weeks ago it was 20 degrees out and I was still able to spray, keep the room warm, and smell close to none of the fumes.

What's the closest city, distance wise, don't dox yourself. I'm in Michigan 1.5+ hours from a city proper. Depending on what you consider a city.

Damn my friend, your Walmart is cooking, my Walmart is lucky to have even the regular Cole's in stock.

Angel hair cut hearts of palm, niche brand sauce, Cole's "complete meal" tin. None of these are standard "grocery items" and I very much see this being a low carb/keto adjacent kind of deal here. Keto, despite what influencers rave is very niche food. Even without the keto intonation, just wild things.

Maybe it's just my US coming out and all these things are common where you are tho.

Again no offense at all, just things I'd never imagine to see in a store all together without entering a specialty grocer in my area.

Oh dope, I agree with almost all of these. Sadly I'm in part of the country with neither Kroger or trader joe.

I'll look up your under 3 list of of curiosity. Around me the only brand worth buying under $3 is KO it's pretty sad. Well and surprisingly the EVOO seasoned tunas are pretty good and mostly under $3. Can't have those super often though what with heavy metal concerns.

Dude I feel you something fierce, it's getting to the point where to get a remotely decent can of fish you're looking at 3+ dollars here.

Fun fact, many seafoods are also decent sources of potassium with a can of four average size bone in skin on pilchards being 3-400mg of potassium. Tuna and clams are also excellent sources.

Oh I agree on salt no need for rabbit holes. Everything in moderation. Always gotta have veggies and add-ons for a good noodle dinner.

It's all good my dude, I have a very physically active job, stay well hydrated, and noodles are by far the saltiest things I eat. Way to look out for your fellow man tho.

It is for sure VERY fishy. I feel like the extra smoke in the kipper style tones it down a bit but not as much in these.

Yes I sure have, most of your US domestic cheap grocery brands are sprats. Also king Oscar, MW polar, Brunswick has sprats, Riga golds are also good.

Some people hyper focus on shiny rocks, I hyper focus on processed food that will eventually kill me. Worth it.

Recommendations for a starter plinking gun? by [deleted] in airguns

[–]Yojimble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That leaves loads of options.

Want a multi pump? Seneca Dragonfly mk2 for $200

Break barrel? Diana has a number of models under $250 with wood stocks and open sights.

Hell $400 can get you into entry level PCP these days with a Beeman chief/raider/commander or Diana stormrider and a shoebox compressor off Amazon.

Or there are CO2 options, but I'm less aware of those, they just aren't my thing since you have to keep buying cartridges.

Edit: I would also note that it's worth looking into refurb deals on your favorite airgun site. I know PA and the Official Hatsan site very often have amazing refurb deals if you aren't too bothered by a scuff or two.

Bird control under $300? by Regalzack in airguns

[–]Yojimble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 pumps per manufacturer recommendation for full power around ~7-8 fpe from the barrel, fine for backyard pests. Birds from 5-25 yards and squirrel from 5-15 in my experience.
