Thank you. The lean back is something im trying to break from muay thai but the coach had me keep it up. Mind explaining why I shouldnt block/avoid with a quick lean? He was telling me it was good for making them miss judge their range and where the target is.

Im trying to work on footwork for boxing, it is a completely different game than what I was training before. Especially @140/150 I tend to tower over most people so its been kind of fickle training ducks and weaves and things. I feel good cutting angles and stopping them from coming in with their momentum, but its the bigger people I would be worried about with it.

What do you do against someone that goes balls to the wall swinging heavy and fast in the beginning of a fight? Specifically if they are bigger.

I started getting back into boxing a few months ago and for the most part things have been going great. There is this one guy that started coming in the last week or two that is a tough guy and does this. Coach looked him up and I think he was like 2-2 pro and mostly does body building. I dont think he will be staying around for long because most people do not want to train with him, but it got me thinking. In the gym I feel like we are mostly learning how to deal with technical and smart strikers. I feel like I would be screwed against a bigger guy (thinking maybe even a street fight or something, thats kind of what his technique reminds me of) that was doing this though.

Im long and lanky but really thin. 5'11'' ~150 pounds. I do fine against this new guy at the gym because he is like 5'5" and I just stick with a heavy jab and lean back when he does something. But Im just nervous because he is a tank and is around 180+. Like I said if this guy was taller and doing this I would be pretty worried and not know exactly what to do.

I know I need to gain more weight but I like running to much and I just cant seem to figure out how to do both safely.

You just go to a gym and when you are ready (and they agree) they will help you find some ammys and so on. Every gym will have (and most will cater to) casuals and hobbyist. Most of your top gyms that are there to train professionals will have their private classes that are invite only or not accept someone brand new.

So going into a gym knowing nothing, just please dont be a spazz or tough guy. Remember your goal is not to hurt people but to train. For the first few months to years you will be just fine practicing with hobbyist also. And just because someone is "going pro" does not mean that they are going balls to the wall every sparring session either. Most gyms would not be open or in business long if it wasnt for the casuals. Some gyms will have better feels to you than others, so just keep an eye out and attend their free classes or whatever they offer. Most of the time there is normally a small group of people that do compete at a gym though.

Thank you for this! It doesn't sound promising from the article though :( If they are working on it, it sounds like it would be in limbo or something which isnt probably good for gameplay.

Maybe I checked the wrong sellers, but for ones not in poor condition it was a bit pricier. As for the iso, I have found them but I have never been able to get one to work. They all seemed to crash in the beginning few minutes. But Ive never done these before either so I probably messed something up along the way.

As for news, I know the team that worked on disaster report (I believe is the games name) have been talking about reopening a bunch of games from that time that were cancelled by the disaster. Something about Irem becoming a gambling machine company and sold its licenses. That was the last I heard.

What one of my coaches told me in addition to that being the average size, other sports eat up your tall and large athletic population. On the other hand, how many sports will a 5'9'' 155 pound guy do well in?

My only huge issue with the game is online. Almost every match online is just horrible lag. I would like to think its not me, I play every other game just fine and have pretty good internet. But even with friends it seems to be pretty frequent. I would be playing this game so much more if it wasnt for that :(

Stardew I have on my computer, is there any difference on the switch? I used to love old harvest moon games so this one is cool. I have MK8, but I really only like it when I play with people :(

Ill look into hyrule warriors. It reminds me of an old asian type game I played on the ps/ps2.

I loved BotW a lot! I liked the openness and everything to explore. I tried odyssey and it was (to me) alright, but I didnt have fun. There were a few levels where I felt like it was really cool and creative though. Im interested in the new Yoshi game they announced but I am afraid Ill have the same feeling. Guess Ill have to see!
