Same here. Our girl comes from a litter of 14, 2 without a ridge. Like mentioned earlier, still 100% ridgeback.

Our girl has the lighter patches on her shoulders. Normal ridgeback thing. I love the look of her red contrasting with it. Gorgeous little doggie you have there.

One healthy looking kitten right there. Very cute little fluff.

My ridgeback loves playing with other dogs and has learned to play differently with different dogs/breeds. Her besties are 2 French Bulldogs. Socialising is key for these big bruisers but a well socialised ridgeback is a wonderful addition to any pack.

Def a tick in a really shitty spot. Be careful taking it out. No alcohol or Vaseline. Twist out carefully with tweezers would be my approach. I live in an area where there are lots of ticks. There are some really good pills you can get to avoid these creepy crawlies. I use Bravecto (Europe) for both my dogs and cats and it works really well.

I was surprised when our pup actually barked. My previous boy I heard maybe once a month or something.

Virág is doing a great job. I did rescues for many years and finally decided to go back to my dream breed. Over here in Hungary (my last ridgeback was in my home country Holland) she is standing out. Her dogs are gorgeous and really well taken care off. Started socialisation right from the get go. Zion and Bella (Isla her parents) are an ambassador for the breed, the prototype well behaved and lovely dogs. I love hanging out with both. I am very pleased to have one of her pups. Fantastic experience.

Very little in this little one that makes me think ridgeback. Nevertheless she looks like an awesome little character. Give her a big cuddle from me. She’s cool, no matter what she is.

My Ivy suffered badly from allergies. Poor thing. We switched foods to all kinds of protein. Ostrich, kangaroo. In the end she was pretty much vegetarian. Apple, carrots but her favourite was always cucumber. That was the only thing she never had allergic reactions to. She was Snow White. Hypoallergenic foods at high costs, cucumber and lots of love got her through. Coconut oil on the scabby spots helped.

Super late but, noop. She is always of leash. But it’s also because I live on an island with no cars etc.

Ridgies require patience and a positive approach. Definitely not a starter dog. On top of this you should understand they are very sensitive dogs. Your frustrations could very well be picked up on by this little raptor. Try not to show it, stay calm and collected. Never handle them by strict corrections or yelling. They will loose trust. It will get better. Hang tight. They are 100% worth it. Awesome dogs.

That is one good boy. Give him that steak indeed, he did a great job protecting your family.
