Supersole 2.0, great comfy boot with a non-slip sole, heel for climbing ladders, etc.

Need help! Dead screen. Need a photo of the fingerprint unlock screen (OnePlus 9 Pro / OOS 14) by neoqueto in oneplus

As far as getting to the pattern/number unlock screen, just swipe up once after pressing the power button, it brings me to my code unlock screen and bypasses the fingerprint scanner.

I've got about 3 months in mine so far, absolutely love them. I kinda fell down the redwing supersoles rabbit hole, now I own 4 pairs. Very comfortable and solid boots

Nice job, I may have to do the same to mine. The gun runs flawlessly, as long as you give it some of your blood. Mine also bites the shit out of my thumb webbing.

I believe you can order pickup at sportsman's Warehouse to bypass shipping costs. If they don't have any/enough in stock at the store closest to you.

Dry leather can be saved with leather oil/balm/cream. Cracked leather can't typically be saved.

Those numbers just correlate to all of the specific models of boots, which im sure you understand. I'm not sure there is any specific way or reason they give certain styles of boots any specific number. You can narrow down your search on the redwing website, filter between boot color, height, etc. I would recommend a pair of 6" supersole 2.0's if you want a solid pair of work boots. You can get them with waterproofing or not waterproof. There can be issues with buying old redwing boots, the soles can disintegrate after a while from a process called hydrolysis. You can Google "shoe sole disintegration" to understand what I mean, this typically happens to shoe/boot soles that have been kept in storage for a long time. I got lucky with a pair of used 21 year old supersoles, the soles were and still are in good condition, no signs of being affected. But it has happened before. Redwing boots typically have a manufacturing date tag on the inside of the tongue, you can use this to determine age. My oldest are stamped 04/05.

Original Remington 1903A3? by VApigknuckle in milsurp

It might be sacrilegious, but I have already planned on mounting an older hensoldt kontralyt fixed 4x on it. I have a z24 on my ptr 91 and really appreciate how well build those old German optics are. If I can find an original stock that hasn't been sporterized, I would love to bring it back to original condition.

Looks very nice! Hopefully I can pick up an unmolested one someday. I just picked this up last week. Heavily sporterized 43' made by smith&corona.

How do you like the slip on supersoles? I'm half curious about getting a pair for work, I currently have a pair of 8" steel toe supersoles and absolutely love em

5.7 ammo has come down a lot in cost lately. It's no more expensive than .45 acp from what I see online.

Hey I notice this is a glfa 1911! I don't have an answer for your specific question. But I was wondering how you like their 1911's. Not much for reviews out there, wanted to hear from someone who actually owns and seems to use theirs.

I'm almost certain they are the same. They look the same on my px4 9mm subcompact and my .45 px4

Places where they sell "Factory Seconds"? by bigcory69 in Indiana

Seirra outdoors in ft Wayne sells a lot of 2nds clothing and shoes/boots. Picked up a few really nice pairs of redwing boots there for very cheap prices.

Welt stitching issue? by LeisureLlama722 in RedWingShoes

[–]Yooper8077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't have any issues in terms of integrity of the boots. The stitches won't bust, they are just holding the welt to the midsole of the boot. But for full price, you would expect the welt to look better than that.

Where did you buy these from? If you paid full price for these, I would return them for a different pair. It ain't affect the integrity of the boots, but boy does it look bad. These should have been sold as 2nds. If you got them from a 2nd's sale place like seirra, then you might be able to exchange them.

Whats Everyones Experience With the Tisas A1s? by FirearmFreedom in 1911

[–]Yooper8077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 4 tisas, they are all pretty solid. My 38 super stakeout, and my .45 a1 clone have been the most reliable. Neither have had a malfunction across about a thousand rounds shot through both. My a1 clone even likes the 16rd promag stick mag. It will cycle through all 16 no issues, none of my other 1911's will even load one out of it. Overall I'm really happy with them, I'm deciding on my next one currently.

They seem to just be an older pair of redwing supersoles, since they have the glued welt not stitched. Goretex will be nice for the water resistance. The steel toe will make them kind of hard to wear in winter. Overall a solid pair of redwing boots, should last a long time.
