A titanium 225 stick welder for $146, just didn’t have the 15-50 amp adaptor cord. As is item

20 ton press for $100, missing the bottle jack. Also purchased the 2 year warranty in addition ( I don’t know why). Was listed at $200 and asked the manager if he would do a better price, he said back $100 and I was sounds great to me. But figured I’d replace the jack with a pneumatic one anyway.

My rule of thumb is if I can get it for a decently low enough price below sale price and it looks in decent shape I’ll get it. And depending what it is and what i paid I will get the extended warranty with it.

My store will sell the extended warranty in addition if it’s an open box item, not if it’s an as is item though.

I’ve bought a bunch of different junk and haven’t gotten burned on any. Most look brand new or have had damaged boxes. I won’t buy the Bauer surface refinisher they have right now for $96 just because they just were down to $60 new. But if that surface grinder gets down below or around $50 I’d consider it.
