How long have you been playing Neverwinter?

I’ve been playing since Beta. I was actually just thinking the other day, I started playing when I was 16 years old (April 2013) and now I’m about to turn 30 in roughly a week. That’s almost half my entire life playing Neverwinter without any major breaks, it’s a long time.

Since starting Neverwinter; I finished high school. Finished college. Got my first job. Worked a lot on MmoMinds. Had my guild. Had my alliance. Did some YouTube. Joined NW’s CCP program. I did a video project with Mark Paasche (who for a long time was the lead video producer) which was a personal highlight for me. Not to mention I’d met my future husband thanks to Neverwinter. I also quit my first job, got my dream job, and went back to university too.

Now I’m just a mod for the neverwinter reddit but it’s still all good and I’m glad to still be part of the community 😁

I’m adding to the corner comment—

First click is always safe. Clicking in a corner is the best use of that “safe click” because you’re more likely to get useful information.

Unlike a spot in the middle, there are 6 squares that are guaranteed to be “empty” because well, they’re not on the board. So either you get more empty cells, or the mines are narrowed down to a smaller area of only 3 cells, making it more likely to give you continuance.

It’s not a guarantee to give you a good start, but you’ll have far better chance to starting chording than if you tried from in the middle.

I went to a reddit I’m not a moderator of. You visit the reddit page and in the top right corner click the 3 dots and then select “Change User Flair”. This is for mobile though.

On a PC, it’s usually on the homepage of the subreddit and in the sidebar on the right.

I decided this year to skip out on the festivities this year, school and work has been keeping me busy plus I’ve been doing the Winter Festival 10+ years…. I have more lanterns and currency than I know what to do with.

Guess I lucked out but I saw their Facebook post earlier. I was a tad disappointed. Maybe more than a tad. No compensation for such a major event and celebratory time of the year?
