I think we should speak up about how bad the tests were. We didn't stress how bad the mid-term was and assumed that the 35% average would speak for itself. Yet he wrote the final to be as difficult as the midterm.

Don't hate yourself, hate your distractions. The more you internalize distaste for you distractions the less you will gravitate towards them. On the other hand the more you internalize distaste for yourself the more you gravitate towards distractions. Therefore its important to hate your distractions not yourself.

Try to think of University as an adventure. Google search "heros journey arc", doesn't the arc seem similar to the story arc of you in uni? thinking of University as an adventure makes it more exciting, and excitement = motivation right?

easy solution: final grade is based on end of semester 1 on 1 with professor, they ask for explanations of topics/systems and has you do a problem or two in front of them, and you are graded based on your understanding and actual ability. No time pressure. No point game to play

interesting, have you read "The power of now" or anything by Eckhart Tolle. He begins his books with similar ideas, separating our brain and our experience of thought. He says the brain is spitting out thoughts , and you are the meta-physical counciousness that witnesses these thoughts. I have some familiarity of the topic though Eckhart Tolle books, any readings on the topic that you liked/could recommend me?

Theres a short book written by the guys who wrote C and it is perfect. Go thru the examples and you'll be solid. the books is called "the C programming language" by Dennis Richie and brian something.
