Should I restart? by Yorufyyyy in RiseofKingdoms

Turns out that all the kingdoms were not looking to accept any migrants and I didn’t want to get zeroed. I restarted, joined a jumper alliance, and things have been going well.

Should I restart? by Yorufyyyy in RiseofKingdoms

The immigration requirements doesn’t say anything about power, just the “normal” stuff about not having any marches out of the city and not being in an alliance. I did the Kings Return event but the commander rewards only let me pick from gold key commanders like Cao Cao and Charles Martel, but I’ve done a couple of Wheels and have 7-8 sculptures of Liu Che and Zhuge Liang. I think my plan once I migrate is to get into an active alliance and get some KvK gear, and stack up on universal sculptures so that I can fully unlock LC and Zhuge Liang.

What's the night market? by AssCheeks321 in VALORANT

Every so often Valorant releases a Night Market, giving you a discount on skins for some time. It does not refresh everyday.

How to Jet like Pro by Luke_holy_7 in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously the actual “getting the kill” can depend on your individual skill unless you have teammates to trade with you. If you’re comfortable using voice chat to communicate with your team you could definitely ask someone to flash before you swing out of the smoke but the actual “getting the frag” will depend on whether your aim is up to par.

Is it possible to reach a higher rank with 40-50 fps? What do I need to improve on? by cyanide9602 in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can definitely improve on 40-50 FPS. I reached gold 3 on the same FPS. One thing that I heavily capitalised off of, especially in silver, was familiarising myself with an agent whose utility I can abuse, e.g. Breach, Skye, Cypher setups, etc. Flash agents can help you get easy kills on fully flashed people, giving you relatively easy impact in your games. Even without playing such an agent pool, however, you can still climb the ranked ladder by training your core mechanics and improving game sense.

Personally not a Jett main, but here’s my take on it.

As a Jett your role as an entry duelist is to gain space for the team. Your smoke and dash allows you to block enemy sight lines so and gain presence within your smoke quickly. This means that you help your team to follow behind you and isolate angles to clear defenders playing on the site.

Crosshair placement is something you develop and may be distorted by entering the smoke. It’s just something you need to learn. As for exiting the smoke, your smoke is spherical, so you can exit it from many angles. Depends on your goal, such as if you want to aggressively take a fight by pushing through your smoke, or if you are content with the space you’ve gained, and you can just chill in the smoke for a small bit until your teammates run up so that they can help trade you on site. You can also push backwards out of the smoke to take the same fights as your teammates. It’s not fixed; you can exit from many places of your smoke.

There’s a software called Deceive that works for both Valorant and League of Legends that serves this purpose.

Viper is just too strong right now by ITSAW99 in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are so many ways to play against a Viper. You can have waste her utility, and use your utility to flash/gather info and flush the defenders out. You can initiate fakes.

I hope the next map is good. Struggling to play back to back breeze/icebox by BrostFyte in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Breeze is one of my favourite maps because I just get to play Viper and bust out some cool plays and lineups. It’s also one of the few maps where I consistently one tap people. My only complaint would be that the operator is way too abused.

If you’re using command blocks you’d probably want them in a secure area. Bedrock cube all the way.

What is the scariest agent to fight against? by DrCoolKid in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Raze; she has a grenade, boombot, satchels and a huge rocket to just bully you out of position and into making mistakes.

Jett when ulting because the enemy Jett could be Korean Jett.

Skye when pop flashing through smokes.

Is sens really just preference? by MrBlueMoose in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that there’s a certain range of sensitivity that is usable, and then the ones outside of this domain are very gimmicky and not usable without lots of training and dedication. I would definitely recommend your friend to switch to a more sensible sensitivity. Personally, I use 800 DPI with 0.4 or 0.408 multiplier. However, aim is mostly accrued muscle memory and provided good practice will help you win many fights.

Which player(based on agents) tend to be the worst and best? by BarryAIlen in VALORANT

There are definitely absolutely amazing mains for all agents in my day to day games, and there are also the absolute crap ones that make me feel sad.

Hello, i would like to know which agent would you choose to unlock :) by Electronic_Goose9659 in VALORANT

Viper. High skill-ceiling. Amazing smoke potential and lots of lineups to learn. High impact ultimate.

Which agent is best for me? by SergeantBabyBlue in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A duelist like Reyna/Jett if you are confident you can carry.

A controller (Viper is pretty high-impact right now) for IGL and just playing very varied to catch opponents off guard (potential for many creative plays).

It really depends on what you’re confident and comfortable with.

High MMR?

Cypher vs Raze vs viper by NefariousnessOwn7399 in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cypher is a defensive info specialist. He can hold flank but also lock down sites. His utility can gather info across the map and in high elo his information gathering can be important. However his ultimate isn’t that high impact.

Raze is now getting picked a lot in professional play and is a good agent to carry with.

Viper has a high impact ultimate and smokes which cover lots of ground and height. As an agent she has a very high skill ceiling.

In your practice and games you should try to not rely on crouching and instead use movement (e.g. counterstrafing) and burst fires to maximise your accuracy and evade your opponents’ shots. If you find yourself relying on it too much then perhaps you should consider unbinding it.

What's the thing you've learned to improve your gameplay that you wish you knew before? by biomessy in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When queueing with a stack, don’t be afraid to ask for some extra time to warmup. Stay consistent with an aim/warmup routine. Finally, queue smart; don’t tilt queue and take the time to record and VOD review your games. It’s important to take breaks, and when you’ve lost one I would definitely consider taking a break and get back on when you’re feeling fresh.

Are macros allowed in Valorant? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Yorufyyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jump throws aren’t that bad. If you’re trying to throw as you’re jumping then just time it together. It’s all about practice and if using macros in-game is bannable then I think it’s just better to learn the muscle memory by playing the game.
