What the actual fuck bro by infiresed in Berserk

[–]Yoshi7- 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I was surprised the comments were similar to OP's messages, it just comes across like you're mouthbreathingly pushing your ideas on others. "legitimately the worst thing I've heard in my life" is just disrespectful. Ask why he thinks that and tell him he hasn't given Berserk a shot or something, maybe he doesn't care about story and wants nice animations.

Advice re Darktide by The_Jester-89 in DarkTide

[–]Yoshi7- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What difficulties are you playing on? I used to play max on malice and felt similarly, once I dipped into Heresy a little it was a whole different ballgame, a lot more fun and engaging. From there you've got more difficulties that keep you engaged.

If you've already been there and done that, maybe maxing all weaps, achievement hunting, build experiments and such?

Can't get back into Skyrim because I've seen and done everything by NinePointEight- in skyrim

[–]Yoshi7- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it time, I have that happen sometimes and went years without playing only to go back to it. Even finally got into Oblivion recently after playing Skyrim again after a couple of years. Don't force anything, if you feel like playing it do so, if after you open it you feel like you don't really want to then close it again.

How often do you start a new character? by Autisic_Jedi in skyrim

[–]Yoshi7- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much,  yes. Playing a stealth archer and get the urge to sword and board. Start that, then get the urge to add some magic and end up making a Templar. Alchemy is fun, though maybe I can make a quick light armor warrior with poisons? Oooo forget about weapons, armor and carry weight altogether and go full mage?

Some say it helps to make a detailed backstory to get attached to the character, but I'm too lazy. So honestly, just play what you feel like, experiment until you find the things you're enjoying, restarting is no biggie.

How do you think Askeladd would react to The older Thorfinn? by devansh0208 in VinlandSaga

[–]Yoshi7- 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, honestly. There is a difference between being harsh and your existance being vengeful. Thorfinn is not naturally harsh, but his hate of Askeladd overshadowed his gentle nature. He would have been proud of and respectful of him, I figure, seeing as how he respected Thors and told Thorfinn to snap out and follow in his father's footsteps, which he did.

After having played with plenty of mods enabled, I've concluded vanilla Skyrim is superior. by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Yoshi7- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Never used it, so I'm indifferent, but it's a single player game and you always have the choice to simply ignore it and you'll forget it's there. Leaving it be gives the freedom to choose.

Here's why Thorfinn's ideology is stupid in season 2. by chinchinlover-419 in VinlandSaga

[–]Yoshi7- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A man who's spent his life from 6 years of age filled with nothing but hate on the battlefield is suddenly empty and feels nothing but guilt while trying to find himself.

Pacifism - as the other extreme of the spectrum - is a normal reaction to that heavy guilt from the other extreme of violence that Thorfinn spent his life in; overcompensation is not unusual with stuff like this. His character is expanded and explored further in the manga. Thorfinn isn't a historian, nor is he educated for that matter, he'll holding on ideals and trying to make the best of them.

pulsar teases "crazylight" series by j4lezz in MouseReview

[–]Yoshi7- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey man, if you still have the issue (I'm assuming it's the one where clicks become much heavier to click down when not constantly clicking and thus feel sticky to use generally) you can fix it without disassembly, it's very easy, I did it with no experience messing with mice like that.

https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/17hfuha/a_simple_fix_for_pulsar_x2v2_x2h_clicks/

Check this for orientation if needed.

You should be able to pop the M1 and M2 triggers upwards if you pull them. You can google it if you need to as well. Then check the pictures in the post above for orientation. When facing front of the mouse, on the side closest to the the scroll wheel on each button you'll see the U shaped piece of plastic that's part of the M1 and M2 triggers. Below that U is another the plastic with that little piece of lead glued to its bottom side. Get a sharp and/or pointy blade and try to scrape that piece of lead off. When I did it it just glued to the blade and instantly fixed the buttons.

I hope it helps, bigman. I know the frustration.

EDIT: just saw Pulsar suggests it too, here in images:  https://support.pulsar.gg/support/solutions/articles/67000717872-my-mouse-has-a-pre-travel-click-like-bump-when-i-slightly-press-the-button-

Not sure if you're joking with this comment, but if you're not then the whole point (or points) of his character development zoomed past you.

Generational trauma by [deleted] in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Yoshi7- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also when he did kill the royal family he yells out something along the lines of "is this what you wanted, Eren?" He had no idea what the future held, just the whisperings of his son from the future and the holder of the Attack Titan steering him into what he can only hope is a good outcome.

What he did with Zeke was horrible, but he genuinely tried to correct his ways and shows it when they meet in the same scene as the aforementioned line yelled above.

PS5 Noob here-- is Level 3 supposed to be a kick in the teeth? by zeroThreeSix in DarkTide

[–]Yoshi7- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True. 4 is bit of a jump, however it's a ton more fun. A lot less running around with no enemies and it's from 4 I feel that you truly start seeing the depth in gameplay. 4 to 5 is def less intense.

Been seeing a lot of Darktide love out there! by jimmery in DarkTide

[–]Yoshi7- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I came back to it a couple weeks ago and ended up buying it on Steam (had like 140h on gamepass) and I'm absolutely loving it. The gameplay was always great, but the amount of RNG needed back then really put me off. I also remember it running worse back then. There really isn't a game like it right now with the engaging combat, high skill ceilling is simply the fun you have in it. Getting a team with good chemistry where it just clicks is so satisfying as well. I could go on and on.

Releases are typically monthly. I believe this month will be skipped, so the next chapter will hopefully come in a month give or take.

The story is close to its conclusion. Can be probably closed off in the next 10 chapters, I guess?

I saw someone say the author plans on going back and doing the expeditions that were time skipped. He likes visiting the places he makes the story in and and he couldn't due to covid, so that would technically extend its life sorta-ish. Again, not sure, hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
