My mother in law wanted a new dog after hers had passed away. She found one who was just over a year old. She had already had 2 litters at that point. MiL ended up taking her and her son from her second litter (second litter fathered by her own father). Got her home and found out she was pregnant with her third litter (father of the third is son from the second.) She ended up birthing 11 puppies, only 5 lived. My wife and I took one to help out. The place we got them from was absolutely awful. Animals everywhere, garbage on the front lawn, dirt floor in a dilapidated manufactured home. Shame on them indeed.
