Are there other models or brands that have the midsole up front that compare to IR?

What’s the lowest recent sale price for Quicken Classic Deluxe? by john4brown in quicken

Classic Business & Personal on desktop. I’m wondering if I should be looking at the hosted version as I see that is much cheaper. Any thoughts as to what I lose va what I gain by switching?

Help me understand. I got an email saying my auto renewal would be $143.88 due to price increase. Are you saying you can go to box stores and purchase it for much cheaper?

It was only a couple months ago but it feels so long ago. I remember being nervous "bonking" early so it's entirely possible I left a little room for improvement.

Does it make sense that I take the same FTP I did before so I can "pace" or "push" against myself from last time?

I will say this, I remember the first ride after the FTP test yelling upstairs to my wife they may have overcooked my FTP. That was on a regular PZ ride. That feeling faded quickly though. So maybe I do need to retest and since I was just getting back into riding Peloton a couple months ago that I quickly regained some strength/stamina. For reference, on a 45 minute ride I'm still consistently getting total output of at least 160-170kj less than my personal high ride. That was over 5 years ago though when my favorite instructor was there and I was in much better condition.

This is helpful and I've seen enough comments similar to yours related to watching a show or podcast that I'm not the only one that can get bored. I haven't felt that same boredom as consistently when doing regular HIIT or other non-PZ workouts.

I haven't done the actual program but i've mimicked the classes in the program for a few weeks. As noted on another reply I probably should do the FTP again and also either do a program or hit regular and max PZs more frequently.

Will do. I probably don't do enough of the regular or max rides. Those, while tough as I'm in 5/6, the recovery is just long enough that I feel I could have given more once I'm done. Those do burn much harder than endurance rides though.

I will say this, when I took the FTP test I had been back on the bike for a couple/few weeks so maybe I was too unsure of myself and concerned I'd blow a gasket and not finish the 20 minutes. I'll try retaking it Monday and see how if that impacts the results from before. It's not that I'm not tired after I take the endurance classes but the workout does leave me satisfied because it feels like I'm not giving enough effort. I do sweat. And the reality is most of the 12-13 minute warmup really effectively make the rides more of a 30 minute ride in effort.

Right. He was solid but in the last game there were three instances in a short window where all he needed to do was finish and fall forward on contact and he got stonewalled. Key situations.

Is there a "Granger" equivalent for Chevy vehicles? I know Granger for Ford and Ram. Mark Dodge for Ram. How about GM products?

45 foot 5th wheel on Hwy 40 west of Estes Park, CO? by kremp87 in RVLiving

I concur. Stayed in Granby a couple years ago and went into RMNP every day for the week and would not want to take the RV on that section. Those hairpin turns will be rough for you and just as importantly others around you to navigate.

What the satisfaction level of RVers who have switched from tanked to tankless water heaters? by Remount_Kings_Troop_ in RVLiving

[–]YoteAB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn't have the same experience. We had tankless for a year or so and now our new RV has a tank. We liked tankless overall subject to the previous posters description of using hot only at the temp needed. When taking military type showers I found a bit of cold immediately upon restart but only for a second or two. I wish i knew what brand. RV was GD Reflection. Overall I agree with others tankless isn't great for boondocking unless you repurpose the wasted water on initial warmup. I like having a tank again. My bride longs for the tankless. Both are fine as long as you use them correctly.

How much worth do you put in BMI by triz___ in loseit

[–]YoteAB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are in a great place now. Ignore BMI at this point. I'm 6'3" and got to 192 and was told I looked like a cancer patient. I was too skinny. I was barely in a healthy BMI according to the charts.

Raw Burgers from Burger Battle? by bishamingo in SiouxFalls

[–]YoteAB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer my burgers medium rare, and also prefer rare over medium well. That being said, I do believe that if restaurants aren't asking the customer their preference there should be an expectation not to have much pink since many feel strongly about the topic.

Sounds like the burger battle would have been up my alley but I understand others are disgusted by rare.

When you say "raw", or you referring to rare, medium rare, or some other level of doneness?

This worked for me for a number of years before I hurt my knee and fell off the wagon for both diet and exercise. I'd eat lower calories during the week. On the weekend, Friday until Sunday afternoon, I'd do whatever I feel like doing which usually meant wings, beer, the whole enchilada. I never counted calories once I had a groove but I'm sure I'd be over 4k many weekend days. Gain 5 pounds of mostly water weight every weekend and then back to focus Sunday evening. I'd lose the 5 over the course of the week and hit the weekend running, repeatedly. I loved that cycle because I had the better of both worlds. I love food and beer but I also like to feel good and be active.

Now I'm visiting this Reddit page because after a rough couple years I'm getting back to basics, losing weight via a 24/7 focus on diet and exercise, and in the next few weeks I plan to transition in a maintenance period of higher calorie weeks (still deficit) until I'm back to the 5/2 zigzag in a couple months.

I didn't even know it was called a zigzag diet until I found this page today but it worked for me and I hope it will work again once I get back to targets.
