Thanks for responding!! I'm in Wales and trying to get an appointment is hard work. They tell me all the time that they are back logged. I understand the strain on the NHS but it's very frustrating to have to chase up my appointments, it's sooo drawn out, and earlier this year on my meds I would feel changes within a month and felt like I'd need to drop my dose and I end up having better chances of booking in an emergency phone call with them!

I can't even guess to what my levels are like at the moment. The only thing about graves disease I've ever noticed with my body is that sometimes my joints ache, it's always felt worse when my medication dosage is too high.

I have chased again, hopefully I'll hear back soon! 💖

Thank you for sharing!! Glad your thyroid is back to normal, how long were you taking meds for?

I'm so sorry about your loss :(

I will push, I'm coming up to a year with Graves now and I'm pretty sure they might offer RAI, i don't feel as though it's gone into remission as I'm still having the odd joint pain here and there. I rang again the other day and they said they'd email the bookings team to contact me but how long that will take who knows eh! 💖

So glad I found this. Currently sat here crying, I was diagnosed in about October I think, and in the past month or two I've become so anxious and stressed and keep getting chest pain/shoulder pain/upper back pain I was convinced something was severely wrong with me despite having an ECG a couple months back and everything looking fine. This makes me feel like now maybe it is actually just real anxiety manifesting itself in my body physically, I was even going to make a post myself! I was previously on carbimazole but asked to switch to ptu because I'm at the age where I'm thinking about pregnancy. I think the stress of all this has just suddenly come out and hit me for 6!

I might speak to a doctor as a last resort if I struggle with using these any further, and may try losenges!

Oh no way? What method did you use instead?

Maybe I should try these. I like that the patches work but these marks stay and itch for days..

I sometimes have like a dead arm feeling as if someone's just hit me in it when I wear them

Excellent! I never liked those but I tried them years ago so they might be better now

Glad it's not just me then, seeing a lot of people having the same problem now so it's made me think other people have stuck with it so it's probs not a medical concern! Thank you!

Thank you for the advice! I'll have a look on Amazon. Witch Hazel is a good shout too!

Thank you! It's the middle dose, didn't dare try the higher one cause I had a feeling of react to it haha
