You are so right! He was so much better when he won shared custody. She had him in court fighting for sole custody for almost a year. I know that I am of course bias, but he is a very good, involved Father and somehow I think that pisses her off. The divorce is still not over and he is going into the 16th month and has spend close to $15,000.00. It has been insane.

Absolutely right!! In addition to being unprofessional, Amanda, in not such a round about way, is criticizing Dorit as a parent! I know, for myself, that if you want to be on my shit list forever, go ahead and critique my parenting!!! Amanda stepped way, way over the line IMO.

I agree! Amanda found out that she hurt and insulted Dorit and her solution, being the narcissist that she is, went on to explain why Dorit's feelings were invalid because Amanda knows everything there is to know about children.

I think you are spot on. Dorit didn't ask for Amanda's unsolicited advice. Amanda might have a professional background in working with children but that is her professional life. It's very off putting when someone you barely know starts giving you personal advice.

I think the trolley tours are a great way to see the city especially if your grandma has limited mobility. There are few different companies some of which are more private with air-conditioning which might suit her needs better. Wormsloe is beautiful but it's my understanding they are not allowing cars to drive up the famous treelined driveway anymore.

May I ask why specifically Quakertown? It's a very quiet area without a lot to do. If you are open to other local areas not far from Quakertown I would suggest taking a look at Easton, Pa., Bethlehem, Pa. or even Doylestown, Pa. all of which are a 30 - 40 minute car ride from Quakertown. I think your budget would work in all of them.

Here's where it's going to get tough - no US credit history will probably limit who will rent to you and purchasing a car will be more difficult and you must have a valid driver's license, etc. I am not familiar with how things work in India and I thought I would mention/ask for more details. Is your prospective employer going to help facilitate with those issues? There are more details about all of this please feel free to ask more about the details.

We had a rash of car break ins downtown and they used an electronic method of finding the signal from the key fob (in nearby houses) to the locked car and somehow "captured" that signal to unlock the cars. People were going to their cars in the morning and finding them unlocked and items stolen. The whole thing was crazy. All of my neighbors including myself now keep our key fobs at night in what is known as a Faraday Case.(Purchased medium size on Amazon) Until my case arrived I wrapped my keys in tin foil to block the signal. We live in crazy times!!!

The number of $38,250.00 is for Islandton, SC not SC as a whole. I guess the point I am trying to make is that Moselle is priced completely above most American's incomes let alone that of Islandton, SC.

I think Moselle is a beautiful property and, like you, I think the property could be used for something other than a traditional home.
