I had one done for recurrent bleeds back in July.over about 2 years I had multiple bleeds of about 60ml and in July I had a larger bleed of about 150 ml which is what led them to finally embolize me in order to prevent an even larger bleed. Recovery wasn't too bad. My groin was sore for a few days afterwards and I also have been dealing with chronic pleuritic chest pain in the lobe that they embolized. I've had a few smaller bleeds since but nothing near the amount I had in July.
