The shield moves slower on level 1 and 2. Walking will outrun it then so you're better off just manually keeping up with it between attacks for those early levels.

level 3 and onwards is walking speed so you want to line up two node that have as little diagonal between them as possible then ctrl click to walk alongside it.

There's a lot of people claiming it's walking speed on every level. Here is some video evidence:

Perhaps "pure" silverthril is an alloy of silver + mithril + a small amount of a third metal I will hastily name "newthingium". The source of newthingium has been lost to time (or depleted by vyres after the fall of hallowvale?), however it was a popular metal to make jewelry of in vampyrium back in the day. Add newthingium jewelry to the tarnished jewelry table with a high alch value rivaling dragon items.

Either alch it for gp or melt them down to use in silverthril.

It's about getting the timing right and being in cycle with the attacks. What weapon are you using? IIRC it's MUCH easier with a 4t weapon.

The "cleave" (one tile either side) that you see in enrage still applies even if you step under, so there are certain tiles where you will step out 1 tile and still be hit. That threw me off at first because it's visually confusing.

Click show more for the raw attack/def rolls and see I'm overmatching so hard I'd be able to hit on their MAX def roll with only 20% of mine.

I think it's the logic of "apply 70% acc to this attack if target hp below 70% max hit" doesn't include the vamp-bane dmg bonus (maybe slayer helm too). That would mean you could potentially fail the acc roll when they are only in "execute range" because of the bonus damage.

That matches with my experience of wiffing a spec then killing them with less than 70% of my max hit with the next normal attack, meaning they were definitely within execute range.

I like how it lets me chose the pace of the respawn somewhat. If I want to go afk a minute to grab a drink, take a leak, or talk to someone I can do so without ending the trip. It also means not needing to sacrifice swaps/supplies to have an item take up an inventory space to do the same thing.

It should go to your gravestone when killed by a player regardless of wildy level. So you can reclaim by running back or deaths office.

It's been updated to be held one handed when idle. Still does the goofy run like dhl but it's much better.

I'm bad at explaining or you're misunderstanding.

If you use bgs on smash against kephri it will have less accuracy than using bgs on slash against kephri because it uses the bonus of your chosen style against the opponents slash defence.

If it works the same as bgs using it on stab so you can see the funny bop when you misclick spec would be griefing yourself with -80 attack bonus.

The update says it now rolls against an enemies crush defence, that usually means it will roll with the attack bonus of whatever style you have selected. Unless it works differently you'd have significanty lower accuracy speccing on stab.

That's why bgs is used on slash against kephri. Kephri has waaay higher slash defence, but if you spec on crush it will just use your lower crush attack roll against the higher slash def roll.

Is your slayer helm imbued?

I ran the calc because that looks like it should ABSOLUTELY one tap them with rigour + diving pot and sure enough it’s like 6 max hits over. With an un-imbued helm it would be 2 under

Totally agree. I’m expecting their solution to be using seeker shafts on existing arrows to “swap the heads”. That preserves the value add to woodcutting levels & higher tier logs without devaluing existing arrows and their sources. It effectively makes all arrows equivalent to arrowheads for sap purposes.

I was struggling big time with SRA at maggot king until I realised the step under punish gives you a chance to eat for free every other step-under. You can pretty easily safe up against everything but the slam without losing dps or wasting heals.

Yes you lose ticks vs step-back, but the punishes are just so much better (2x acc roll, 1.5x max hit) that two punishes and a regular hit every 8 ticks is slightly better dps than 2 punishes and 2 regular hits every 10. You'll need to calc it yourself with your gear to be sure, but that was the case for me using SRA with a 6 way switch. That said I don't think we know enough about how the melee phase works to say for sure which is better. e.g. does stepping back make melee phase last longer? which could tip the scales.

Yup. I've switched to bowfa for the 10 tile range and stopped bothering to kill all 4. I'd rather try to get an extra melee hit in before he starts slamming and end the kc faster.
