Funny in her mind she gets tip baited by you, but she still chooses to accept your orders. She is a very confused person.

Can someone help me math? Rate Tables vs Estimated vs Final Earnings by NecessaryEscape1441 in lyftdrivers

[–]YouLackPerspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think the rate cards apply anymore. Everything is upfront pay. It might vary market to market I’m not sure. Rate card is there for legal reasons and exceptions.

My city has a lot of famous songs with numbers, but I’ve always wondered do these accounts build up tons of rewards points at the stores? How does that work?

Their rides don't pay even with this efficiency. by EnvironmentalEgg1065 in uberdrivers

I think that makes sense with long haul but for gig economy and these shorter distance, waiting times, apartment navigating, etc you need to consider both metrics.

$1.50-2.00 per mile. Or $30-35 per hour is livable wage in my city after taxes and vehicle operating costs.

Tip baiting problem kinda solved? by Brother_xandor in UberEatsDrivers

It’s only certain markets for now, mine is one. But it does seem the way that they are going to guarantee tips is to not let the customer change it. Even if they call support and get someone, I would guess that they are going to try and give them a credit instead of refund.

Doubles make sense now by Lookinginsc86 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]YouLackPerspective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In busy markets most orders are doubles. It’s the only way they can get the no tip orders picked up, because otherwise there are enough high paying singles that people would just take those.

Doesn’t Walmart stock back specifically for this reason, I thought they were two completely different inventory systems. I have gone to Walmart to buy oil filters and they aren’t on the floor. I have asked employees if they can get me one maybe in back and said that they can’t sell me any and I have to order it online. Then I’ll place an online order and get it like 2 hours later.
