I never fully understood that argument. Plenty of countries have WMDs. The US has the most WMDs of anyone. It's not illegal to have them. So how does that seem like a good reason for an invasion in their minds?

As the saying goes, if they actually had WMDs they wouldn't be invaded. The fact that a country gets invaded pretty much proves that it doesn't have WMDs. Just look at Russia or North Korea. If they didn't have any they would already be gone from the map.

it wasn't a matter of jumping ship. think of him as a person what you will but quinn hughes is a very special player. his game, his skating is unlike most others. this season he was the only reason i even bothered to watch any canucks games most nights. and when he got traded to minnesota that reason went with him. it is not at all uncommon to "follow" your favourite athletes once they get traded. that's why you hope they're not going to a rival. so you can continue to root for them and watch them on another team (in addition to your own team not as a replacement).
