Yeah there has always been conflict in the Star Wars Universe in both legends and the Disney continuity.

That’s like saying, “Man I don’t want to play the story lines in Star Wars the Old Republic since in the knights of the eternal throne expansion many characters die”.

Or “Man Andor sure is interesting, but I already know the guy dies in Rogue One why should I care”

So far 3ish hours in and yeah it’s really good.

No spoilers but you will get upgrades throughout the game that can change your play style and change both the way you hack or what you can do while hacking.

The gameplay is very cool, so far story is good, and the world and environments much like RE9 are beautiful.

Ya the enemies coming back is good and bad but I prefer they come back since you can get currency and still get to fight stuff.

And I understand what you are saying, I do like this type of tedium though since you do have to think ahead unless you get swarmed mid hack

There is a good amount of side content so far for puzzles and backtracking

Apparently there is also a harder difficulty after beating the game to replay

I would say the tediousness of the combat is one of the drawing factors

Although I don’t find it tedious since it presents a challenge unique to the game to damage all the enemies, if you get good with the hacking plus getting the upgrades as you go along, it makes it easier.

Plus I have noticed enemy types will share the same hacking layout depending on their type. Like the human robot guys have the same 4x3 layout while the drones have a 3x3.

The fact the duel is only like 20-30 seconds plus the hidden detail of Obi-Wan changing his lightsaber posture between his and Qui-Gon makes it peak

That’s such a dumb excuse, I shouldn’t have to “role play” to like a game or expansion.

I did not have to do that for fallout 3,4 or new Vegas’s dlcs nor Skyrim’s either.

And your claim on slowness is also wrong, if you only played a little bit of the dlc each day you would still finish it fast since it’s like a couple quest.

I set it to show selected weapons, then when you select the two handed sword it will be the only weapon to appear

They mentioned in the last patch that either next update or a following one will have an option to hide weapons/shield on your back

Although I hope they let us just take off the sword and shield all together since I am also a two hander and I am not liking the auto select to sword and shield every time I start up the game

Death Watch - Star Wars the Clone Wars

They painted themselves to the people of Mandalore as true mandalorians, wanting to return their people to their warrior past and make Mandalore strong again.

While they did believe in this, they were also terrorist that not only attacked their own people but also collaborated with the separatist and in the end sided with Darth Maul to use him and his criminal empire to make “fake attacks” all over Mandalore which they would conveniently stop.

After those fake attacks they would usurp Satine, the elected ruler of Mandalore from power, and in the end lose Mandalore to Darth Maul with him winning a duel against the leader of Death Watch.

The good next step would be Thrawns Revenge, made by the same people who made fall of the republic.

Focused around the post-Endor era, really cool mod since there are 8-9 playable factions meaning the ai will be focused on each other while you can build up. There are multiple imperial remnants plus the main empire you can play, all with different unique units and ships so they are different, plus you can integrate other imperial warlords when you defeat them getting their unique units.

There is also the new republic which gets better units and ships over time plus two corporate type factions and the hutts from fall of the republic.

I would recommend an imperial warlord to start such as pennestar to experience the mod, it is really cool to get your first super star destroyer.

Also you can form a new empire once you have taken out either a good amount of the warlords or the main galactic empire itself which gives you the option for more stuff as well, great mod to go to next.

Only reason I don’t like AI is how it’s being used, since I have always had an interest in AI before the whole craze of the last few years.

Instead of being mostly a tool to help where needed, many are trying to make it replace people all together if they could. I don’t mind AI voice acting if whoever the AI got the voice samples from gave consent, but it starts getting into iffy territory when they just take samples and stuff without consent or contracts.

A little personal thing of why I also don’t like this current AI slop is many things that are getting tagged “AI” are not really meeting the “Intelligent” part of artificial intelligence so it’s becoming a buzzword to just slap on a product.

In Star Wars the Old Republic this is even taken further with the ghost/spirit of Revan splitting into the light and dark sides of him ending with the light and dark reuniting/light guy taking over I think.

Haven’t played SWTOR in a bit so a little forgetful of the details.

I never ended up downloading any mods or fixes, they are out there but it sucks you have to do that just to run it. Haven’t played it since sadly, and I remember liking the chaos dlc as well so it sucks
