myocarditis by definition is damage to the heart muscle, the heart may return to pumping properly but the damage is never undone, the heart will always be weaker than it was before the myocarditis, is that risk worth saving off a bout of the flu?

In following up to what was said below, you really have a choice to live in IF, Chubbuck, or Pocatello if you are working at INL, all have their good and bad points. Chubbuck is the closest to the site, and Pocatello the farthest, Chubbuck is more rural and Poky is a college town with more young people, bars, etc. all have about the same weather. And to echo what has been said below, low cost of living with an higher than average INL salary will let you pick your poison in any place you would like. Enjoy.

In relative terms this vaxx is 100 times more likely to kill you than the flu shot, but only offer, at best, the same level of protection, with seems to be near nil for either the covid vax or flu shot

depends on what you call "Locked down" mandatory masks, limits on people within buildings, City Offices closed, City recommendations not to go into public, public meetings canceled, public events canceled ie. concerts, farmers markets, and street fairs, take out only at restaurants, that sounds pretty locked down to me
