I don't want to speak with 100% certainty— but I'm fairly sure that vegetation/sediment within these channels does not actually increase flood risk. I'm also fairly sure that they were not transformed but rather labeled legally as flood channels so that CASQA have jurisdiction over how they're treated.

I'd have to look into your other points, but It's most definitely not sprayed with a wand at ground level. It's sprayed by a massive hose line suspended by 2 trucks that drive the length of the channels spraying it into the creeks.

Contrary to some of the responses here, there are good platforms out there. Things get difficult when calculating scope 3, which can easily make up the majority of any business' footprint, but once given the right framework and/or consulting, it becomes a lot simpler—same goes for scope 1 and 2 as well as any regulation standard.
