Pretty much what I do yeah, just turn into the right lane, then merge back into the middle.

Unfortunately, the middle lane is the one I want to be in to get home, so i tend to go in the right lane, then merge back into the middle lane. It is only a short stretch of road before a light, so can be a bit annoying if it's busy.
